Already put a note under English language as well. Will see what we can do about that.
Thanks for your responses.Xiaomi's mess, tell them to clean it up.
Nothing we can do about the resolving order, it's managed by the system.
Thank you for the response . Unfortunately i tested my phone and working fine with android 10 .With any Rom at android 11 is open - closes and not responding at all. What can i say that is a mystery .Works, and even 20W.
First of all, don't double post.@Igor Eisberg how to fix note8(ginkgo) not show full info when see info in My device?
adb shell getprop > props.txt
Never heard of such an issue, not something I can reproduce.@Igor Eisberg Thanks for the ROM. Very polished. I have done a clean flash however the problem is that the battery percentage doesn't increase while i attach the charging cable. I am using official cable and charger. The percentage keeps dropping and the phone turns off even while attached to the cable. The phone does show the charging indicator but the percentage doesn't increase. I have tried to delete batterystats.bin and do a full charge cycle but it doesn't help. It was alright with offical rom. I am wondering if this could be a bug?
I've never seen the launcher showing "unresponsive" dialog...Just to report some minor issues:
1)In discord, the default system font somehow appears on the right drawer where the members are listed. (Like the font bug that was around few months ago, but subtler.)
2)Rebooting seems to take ~5more seconds.
3)It also takes ~6more seconds for the launcher to be responsive after a boot up. (It shows a message that launcher is unresponsive too.)
2 and 3 might just be me and not actual bugs.
Also, an observation: I think I now have around 5.5gb of free ram on average, while on the previous update I had ~4.4gb of free ram on average.
Oh ok, I'll try to take a screenshot tomorrow, it's a bit late for me now. (I might record a log too. Should I set the level to debug?) Maybe deleting the data of the launcher would work too.I've never seen the launcher showing "unresponsive" dialog...
No need for a log. The launcher works fine, I'm even using it on my old Mi 5 (Android 8.0, MIUI 11) and it works perfectly.Oh ok, I'll try to take a screenshot tomorrow, it's a bit late for me now. Thanks !! its kinda worked with some tweaksHello,
Some users reported this decryption issue and found a possible workaround:
1) Phone booted to System: Move your ROM file on your computer
2) Phone booted to TWRP: Transfert the ROM file from your computer to your phone, via MTP
3) In TWRP, go in "Installer" menu and navigate to this folder => /data/media
4) You will find the ROM file and you can install it now.
Hope it works for you, I don't have this device.
These "debloating" conversations have nothing to do with this thread, stay on topic. Thanks for replying.
I'm trying to debloat some apps, using root, without a PC; using Link2SD fails, and deleting apps from their directories in /system/ or /system/product/ is causing boot loops.
If you are aware of better solutions, I'd much appreciate that.
Thanks for the notice. However, it does, since I'm talking about the rom having a problem with deleting system apps, and I'm looking for a solution. These "debloating" conversations have nothing to do with this thread, stay on topic.
You can always resume your chat in private.
I can not get log. Anyone here are using note8 can check for me?First of all, don't double post.
Second, run the following command using ADB:
Send me the props.txt in private.Code:adb shell getprop > props.txt
It is not "the rom having a problem". It is you "having to learm what Android is".Thanks for the notice. However, it does, since I'm talking about the rom having a problem with deleting system apps, and I'm looking for a solution.
