No "Format Data" in TWRP = Get in trouble!

For your fastboot issue, are you using USB 3.0 port? You must use USB 2.0 port.

Hi Poney! Thanks for getting back to me. I am using the same USB port that I used when flashing stable ROM. How can I fix this? I have tried most variations of TWRP for Mi 10 (umi) - still stuck on fastboot!

So I just checked. and it’s a USB 3.0! I only have 1 USB port too! Any suggestions?

I have Tucana and I am using the latest version. I found a bug. When the alarm is activated, I cannot turn it off until I unlock it with a fingerprint reader.

to me the suspension of the alarm works well

Also, try "fastboot flash" this TWRP => https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=17248734326145716674

Then hold "Vol+" and "Power" buttons simulaneously to boot to TWRP.

Okay, I am now in TWRP! Amazing! So, I need to format first and then install the weekly?

Mi 8 is older than Redmi Note 7, that's why Mi 8 doesn't have Beta/Weekly ROM support from Xiaomi/Xiaomi.eu anymore.

EDIT: But Mi 8 may still get Stable MIUI 12.5 ROM => https://piunikaweb.com/2021/01/19/xiaomi-miui-12-5-update-eligible-devices-release-rollout-tracker/

Only flash the 3.4.0 twrp
But fastboot boot with the 1206 twrp
After you type the command, just wait for about 1-2 minutes and will boot into twrp
After that just flash the rom you want
Do the same step on every single updates

On Mi 10T with this build games which support high refresh rate and can go above 60FPS are stuck at 60FPS because when opening game refresh rate changes from 144Hz to 60Hz.
On 21.1.13 and before it worked fine.

Of course it doesn't, because on official ROMs you don't get all the hidden features we unlock. You're comparing apples to oranges here. Some of the new features' libraries are conflicting, causing a repeated re-download. I already stumbled upon a solution for the next release.

You need to boot twrp through fastboot, using
fastboot boot recovery-TWRP-3.4.2B-1206-XIAOMI10-CN-wzsx150.img

Perhaps its time for a clean install. Remove magisk and do it from scratch.

the wifi of my Mi9 does not work in the 5Ghz range. It only works in the 2Ghz range.

When I connect it in 5Ghz range then the connection comes up, disconnects again and reconnects etc.

This is only since Andorid 11

Same here, I tried all the recommendations like using a free channel etc. Didn't help...5Ghz connects and after a short while a message pops up "this WLAN hast no connection to the internet" Went back to 12 stable and everything's fine again
