On mi8 since day one of miui 11 android 10 every app that i lock in the recents to keep awake after some hours miui kills it and i have put it in no restriction on battery saver. Any ideas?

But the locked apps for me still works even if I don't see them in resents
I have a bug in the permission (microphone cannot be enabled for some apps).

I also had this problem with the webview system app. Application settings (Webview) have been reset to factory default. And Google play after updated successful.
I think its related with you magisk modules.. I don't have similar problem on my max..
For my MI9T Pro, came later that day yesterday a reupload from rom and with that version there are no problems with Netflix anymore
For me, i already installed the reupload file for Mi9T Pro but still have problem with Netflix, also tried uninstalling and reinstall but no luck

I don't have any modules only YouTube canced it's nothing.
Can you tell me if you have auto enable power saving on when is night? I think that makes this problem. They make it very aggressive it close everything and maby it freezes the screen.
Isn't it possible to use aod only between a certain time anymore? I cannot find this seeing on my MI9T pro

I have a problem on my xiaomi mi 8.
Every time I update to the latest weekly release, I also flash magisk canary from recovery, but magisk doesn't install!
When I restart I don't have root access.
I always have to go back to recovery, uninstall magisk with the uninstaller and reinstall magisk version 19.5. Only this version is installed.
Then when I restart my smartphone I can update magisk via the magisk manager app. Why is this happening? It's very annoying, every time I lose all installed modules.
I use Mauronofrio's recovery twrp 3.3.1-2

I have a similar issue with access to contacts permission, seems some apps cannot gather them randomly.I have a bug in the permission (microphone cannot be enabled for some apps).

So yes confirmed permission issues (security app?) On Explorer.
Can you confirm screen not turning on under certain circumstances like at night?

There's a similar issue with other apps.
For example I'm unable to grant Titanium Backup access to contacts.
Same for Rom Toolbox pro.

You make install with 1227 or 0423 twrp or the one you are having installed and The new one will update itself with the rom.
it is done at the end of the process.
Check you have it present in the rom zip file. ( a folder called "recovery")

I don't use magisk. I trim my phone without root.
But I tested magisk 20. when it was available to replace the old 19.2 and it installed fine.
i wonder the same why pyxis/mi9lite is nearly always delayed - but i am afraid we won't get any answers here, its the devs decision, i just wonder if i after choosing the a2 lite, with the mi9 lite once again choose a phone that is poorly supported with custom roms (what always makes me wonder as the price and the specs are really great)
