strange thing here also on Mi5 , updating from 6.5.26 dev eu rom via updater app in rom but getting reboot loop and nothing changes . powered off and reflashed 6.5.26 dev without any problem . Not sure how I can falsh Miui 8 over Miui 7 rom as this failes for me

@ moved Back, still no uodtae to miui 8 for me from miui 7 as it is stuck in bootloop

On my Mi5 from 6.4.21 I had bootloop after install without wipe. Now with wipe first boot is OK, but when I restart the phone, it's stuck again in the bootloop...

No,
I installed all again (ROM and SuperSU), cleaned dalvik and cache - still no root (Mi4W)
I've installed all betas and alfas but this is the first time root has gone.

I think there's a problem in Aliexpress app and Android version compatability. This is just a guess.

Now i want install this latest miui 8 rom 6.6.17 . But when i will install TWRP, i have 3 options on download area:
-TWRP +BOOT_gemini
-TWRP_gemini_MIUIv8
-TWRP_gemini_6.5.7+

which i have to install?

Notes:
1) After upgrading to MIUI 6.6.16, there willl be no more update for Mi Max Alpha ROM. Please manually download MIUI Developer ROM and flash via Recovery.
2) Due to the limitation of hardware platform, devices running MIUI 8 based on Android 4.4 (Redmi 1, Redmi 1S, Redmi 2, Redmi 2A, Redmi Note 3G, Redmi Note 4G) don't support 'Second space' and 'Cloned apps' for now.

No it is different, but same latest TWRP included in the ROM

yes I saw.(in first post is 2.8.7) flashed it from updater and then flashed rom from updater too all is ok. Off course now is 3.02
