First update TWRP then wipe dalvik+cache+data and install ROM via TWRP

After trying miui8 for like 30minutes in kenzo, I've encountered many bugs. The first one is I can't change my network mode from the phone information (*#*#4636#*#*) so I got stuck in wcdma since I have no prefer LTE option in my kenzo. This is what making me go back to 6.5.26 the second one is it is quite sluggish and there is a slight lag while closing app from the app drawer (?) The task manager thing when you press the left burger button. Hope it gets fixed soon

Great job! With Redmi Note 2 are passed from V7_6.5.26 to V8_6.6.17 smoothly. The Miui 8 is fantastic.
1) I downloaded the 6.6.17, 3.0.3 , TWRP and SuperSu in ext SD
2) With TWRP 3.0.0 I installed the new TWRP 3.0.3 (with new TWRP backups are in the "Redmi_Note_2 folder. To see old backups you have to move them in this folder)
3) With TWRP I did the wipe cache and wipe dalwik, then I installed the zip of the V8 and SuperSu
4) After the download still wipe chache and dalwik, then Reeboot.
All perfect! I did not lose any app and no data!

In RN2 I found them in Settings->Device immediately after System applications and Application.
Tried it... IT WORKS GREAT!!!
Actually I am using Parallel Space and 2Accounts but it seems I don't need them anymore.

just installed miui8 beta for mi5, must say that i am quite impressed, really smooth ui and the ram management seems to be really good.

i have no problem. just dirty flash the rom over my 6.5.30 rom .. and wipe davilk and cache.

Roms works good so far. I have previous calculator and the old camera app. but I don't mind.

I haven't this menu ! have you root your device with SUPERSU?
