is Carousel problem server based or rom based? coz I have installed 8.0.12.0 , 8.1.3.0 , 8.1.7.0 and 6.12.29 since last night and problem persist in all of them. If it is server based ( like weather app had once ) I will stop trying to get rid of the problem. tnx in advance

7h SOT... I never even get close to that. What is the problem? I often get 4h SOT and then my battery is already empty. I would murder for 7h SOT!

I just install the Miui 8 (weekly version) on my Redmi 2 Pro , i can enter perfectly but my Sim Card its not detected, i have read a lot of topics and idk if the better choice is to try the Stable one instead of this . I am installing latest stabel global rom for my redmi 3 so I can unlock it, its taking too long. Is it normal? Is there any thing I can do?
It shows "flashing" and time is on 7000 seconds now...

Content de trouver un Français sur ce forum. Peux-tu me dire si tu peux utiliser la fonction recherche d'écran dans l'application google App. Sur les versions précédentes, les boutons restaient gris et dans les paramètres de l'application, il était impossible de les régler pour activer la recherche d'écran. Merci d'avance.

Xiaomi just added this fairly recently, maybe early december. Now they need to add expandable lockscreen notification haha

They're already expandable, you just need to use two fingers swipe (and even then it's too wonky).

Seems to be a server problem, not specific ROM related.

Google backup account has been disabled on my kate since at least 4 releases back and still greyed out in the latest one. I wonder if it is related to preventing micloud backup and google backup running in parallel.

The other thread is locked, but it was introduced in the changelog here, so just wanted to pipe in.
Mi Max Prime (Helium), ROM version 6.12.22 is working well. No problems with a dirty flash, rooted with the newer SuperSU v2.79 and Xposed.

Other Helium users shouldn't hesitate to install this one. Nice ending to the Marshmallow ROMs.

Could you check if you have any problem under Settings->Google->Account ( sign in & security, Personal info & privacy, account preferences ) ?

For me everything in there are all not working, gives same error message "something went wrong. Please try again later".

Problem: Your internal sd is wiped...
Solution:
1. Install china dev fastboot rom.
2. Install twrp by fastboot.
3. Twrp - Wipe - Factory Reset (DO NOT WIPE INTERNAL SD).
4. Install HM4PRO 6.12.29 from Xiaomi.eu.
5. Enjoy.
