For seamless downgrade from developer to stable release Factory Reset (wipe -data, -cache, -dalvik/art) via TWRP recovery needed.
is this in system setting or in twrp (recovery mode) ? I am asking because in first message it is said that in system setting. For seamless downgrade from developer to stable release Factory Reset (wipe -data, -cache, -dalvik/art) via TWRP recovery needed.
Should be same result...is this in system setting or in twrp (recovery mode) ? I am asking because in first message it is said that in system setting.
Your battery is draining. You need a wakelock detector to find out who's keeping your phone awake. Please check battery consumption result on my Mi5 using 6.12.29 (7h SOT + 1h voice calls):

From your battery graph I can see that your phone never slept. But may be just a bug in battery statistics. Especially because there was long period of time when your screen was "on" but statistics shows that your phone was not awake. This is technically impossible.I was keeping my phone awake...7h SOT under 14h

already reported in other devices too. it seems to be an issue in official beta roms as i can see from en.miui.com forums.Kenzo: Launcher settings added to the Settings (6.11.17) missing in 6.12.29?

can you confirm that with a screeshot of your battery stats?Great battery life on redmi 4 prime. 36 hours on, 7 hours screen on time, surfing, gaming, installing etc. and still 40% battery life!
I can understand your arguments. The problem is, that the laucher settings has been removed, but the icons are locked, without possibility to unlock. So, it is a Bug!I don't think it is a bug. introducing a launcher settings section in the general settings menu was a bad idea.
Why? A general launcher settings section should apply to all custom launchers, which is clearly not true in this case. A decent launcher should offer its own settings mechanism within the launcher. All decent launchers do it that way, so the Miui system launcher should do it, too.
Miui, as well as Android in general, offers an interface for custom launchers, just as there is an interface for custom Dial, Messaging, Browser, Camera, Gallery, Music, Email,Mail,Play video, Assist & voice input Apps.
Hence, custom launchers are a valid option for those users who think they need it.
So, I think removing the launcher settings section from the general settings panel was a correct move.
Hallo!
