Hey, everyone! The Security Status page doesn't correctly show the Google Play System Update date.
In the pictures, the Security Status page shows: "February 1, 2021". However, the About Phone > All Specs page shows: "2022-02-01".

Or maybe, the Google Play System Update and Android Security Update can have different dates? (Last time I checked, they were the same.)

The two are not the same.
Security updates are part of the ROM, while Google Play Services update can be pushed by Google, see eg:

On my Mi 9T, MIUI 12.5.2 Stable (last Xiaomi.eu for that phone), the two dates were always different (and in fact, I never got a push from Google to update Google Play Services - it's even two months older than Security update)

PS:I attached also Security Update info from my 11 Lite 5G NE (Lisa), running the stock (not Xiaomi.eu) MIUI 12.5.8, and the dates are different: Security: December, Google Play System: February

I've just tried installing an apk i downloaded but get the error message

"Install the app from a trusted source"

Also my Santander app only works once when making payment & then keeps giving an error message "Ooops something went wrong"

I have to keep clearing all data then logging in again

Definitely caused by Miui 13 as it was fine in Miui 12

Anyone know of a workaround?

mi 11 lite 5g random reboots. when i lock the screen the phone restarts by itself. it does so by pressing the power button and also using the double tap to lock screen. I tried to do a clean installation of the rom but nothing has changed.

Guys, on mi Umi MI10 "ok Google" don't work anymore in any case, either if the screen is turned on or off .
is this a known bug on this release ? Maybe there's some solution?

Installed this update (22.03.03) on my Mi 10 (Umi). Since installing I am having instances of my wallpaper just disappearing leaving me with a grey looking background. In order to get my wallpaper back I have to reboot.
Anyone else having this issue?

Hey, i just have a quick question , why does my phone always says that i have 5G but my internet speed is like i have 4g/4g+ , just once i had a real 5G connection (i'm not sure but i think i didn't had this problem with the official rom .)

Mi 10 Ultra, I too have the call recording issue. Tried force closing as someone else mentioned, but no joy. I have currently turned it off.
Would it be OK to just reinstall last weeks beta over the top, until a fix is forthcoming, or would the 'roll-back' cause issues?
I'm guessing it has nothing to do with the wifi area zone, and linking to areas where it isn't deemed "allowable" to record calls?

hi, using mix4 and experiencing the same problems described by others: whatsapp looses connection and messages are not sent or received, when they do get received it is after a delay tried giving all permissions, removing any battery usage restrictions nothing helped.
also noticed while using whatsapp web that i get a message that the phone is not connected.
turning wifi off gets the messages sent, and gets it connected.
it might be a wifi issue, tried to change region (only after noticing the above problems before that it was automatic)
also noticed a problem with clock on status bar - time does not get updated and when using the phone it creates differences between system clock and the status bar clock display, using an any messages app shows the correct time within the app while the clock on the status bar is frozen and does not change.
all these issues were not present in previous release.
i hope someone would have an input as to how to resolve these problems

Cleared all data of permission app, then I can not open links in linked apps, it is opening in the browser. Cleared browser data and uninstalled it but no way, apps don't open related links!

Searched but couldn't find any answer about it on this page!

Go to apps and three dots on top and choose standard apps. Change settings.

You can set monthly data limit, but not specific date. This is not used by Chinese providers and not present in Chinese Roms. It will be reset with new month.

I am using this ROM for the first time on my Mi 11 Ultra. It's very nice so far. I can now get 5G in the US. A couple questions if anyone can help me.

1) is there an option when using face unlock for it to work as soon as you pick up the phone rather than hitting a button? I was able to do this with the global rom but I cannot find an option for it in settings

2) is there anyway to hide the data usage icon in the notification dropdown? You can edit what icons are showing, but I don't see a way to remove this one.

I have the same issue with santander banking. I'd imagine it is more a problem of the app builders, than the ROM. It's definitely down to A12!

1) Is there any trick to getting google messages to work. I get the notice "failed to create conversation, please try again later" any time I try to send a message. I cant receive them either. The stock messages works fine, but I would rather use google messages with chat features and the ability to use web messaging on my laptop.

1) Make sure all related permissions are granted, especially "Get device info".
2) "Raise to wake" in "Always-on display & Lock screen" settings, if device supports it.
3) The large tiles can't be moved or hidden.

I can send and receive SMS normally I already have all the permissions and I cleared all the data but the SMS delivery reports do not work with the Google SMS application the delivery reports work

I have exact the same problem with Signal. Worked fine on Android 11 But now it doesn't work and I have to use the default Massager App. I even did multiple fresh clean installs with different EU Android 12 ROMs on my Mi 11 Lite 5G.
