Recently I installed previous version for my Mi 9 lite and again I faced with lags when opening apps, and it was 2-3 times slower than Android 10. I readed a few threads to find a solution and I got that deleting the /data/system/package_cache/ folder will fix all these issues. Can anyone confirm that? (I’m on android 10 right now)

That is good that you have researched the subject
In some instances people have said that deleting the folder has helped.
Similarly, I have always maintained that you should tidy and clear your memory before installing the new ROMs, so you do not install it onto open and /or running apps.
So you could try running, in retrospect, the cleaner (widget), Cleaner, and clearing Recents. You could also have a look at your Autostart apps, and see if you need all of them to autostart. If you are already a developer, you could also check / Settings / Additional settings / Developer options / 3 x Animation scales, to check that these are not set too high.

I've again and again a problem with my banking app, that after an weekly OS update, it stops working. Only a factory reset can help. I tried clear data, uninstall, reinstall, wipe dalvik, delete the appfolder using TWRP. Nothing helps. Any ideas? It still works if I use dual apps, but it's really annoying.

To prevent these in the future I have an idea:
In every new rom, before somebody posts his/her first message in there, a pop up will show up containing:
1)The rules for posting (quickly), 2) the current bugs or a link to the bugs thread, and 3)an advice to use the search function and search the last rom and bug threads (at least) with a link to the search function and the rom/bug threads. It probably meeds some coding on your side and ~dunno how willing you are to do this, but it may help.

Download was at 100%. Then there was the massage that an error occured, try again.
Each new try gives the same error. What is the problem?

And that's why I prefer to do the installation manually. It has happened to me that it does not download, the download is canceled or the download is incomplete.
To avoid these problems, I better download the ROM separately and then do the manual installation. I also have a Mi 9

for at least 3 builds I continue to have problems closing apps in the background, for example I play Candy crush, I use some other app for a few minutes and the game closes, I play Pokémon go and close, I open gps joystick ninja for Pokémon go which should show up above other apps and close 3 or 4 times right after a few seconds, then it works for a few minutes and closes again ... the bank app gives me push notifications after quite some time. obviously I set the apps in question without limits in energy saving, with automatic start and with all possible permissions! can you set the ram differently? can you make it not close apps? it has become unusable for me ... thanks

as soon as it happened, I play Candy crush, I answer a call, I go back to Candy crush and the game is closed and restarts as soon as it is opened. Is it possible that 6GB of RAM is not enough to keep a game open? before 2 or 3 builds does all this did not happen! nobody notices the changes that have been made to the RAM management? only I have these problems ???

Everything works fine so far with the update, I have no problem with it. I have only noticed that the WhatsApp folder disappeared in the internal memory, but it doesn't bother me.

Now maybe this is out of context, but I've been trying to find a solution for a long time. Is there a way to remove the black stripe that appears on the side of the screen when playing games or in full screen?

Notes:
- I looked for the option to hide notch in individual applications first, but it no longer appears. It never worked for me anyway.
- I tried using USB Debugging the following command to apply it to the app:
adb shell settings put global policy_control immersive.full = *
* Apk name

Thanks, I already did, I hope it serves as a reference to explain myself better. It is always on the notch side. Curiously there are some apps where that does not happen. But so far I have not achieved anything.

Haha tnx for the screenshots @AJSRO. I searched your model and it has a notch. Probably the game tries to hide the notch while playing. Some things to check:
1)Add/Remove those games in game turbo.
2)Check the hide notch settings from settings-> notifications and control center-> status bar-> hide notch
