Hello, I have a mi10 ultra with 12gb of ram and 256gb of internal space, and I installed the rom 21.11.25 (Android 12), and I noticed that when I open the gmail app, it has, like a delay, slowness, sometimes it even crashes. I don't know if this happened to anyone else.

MIX 4 Great ROM, running like a dream, fixed all previous issues, well done guys!!

Just a question regarding smartlock? i can see its running in trusted agents, but how do you enable it?
Root app to open Smart Lock settings:

But I doubt you could ever make any MIUI to work with Smart Lock (unless they changed something now in A12)

no as the stable version is older so will require a wipe first

Hi everyone! Mi 9t pro will not have more weekly updates. So can I update directly to stable then or I have to make a clean install? Regards!
Follow up from my post on 21.11.17. I saw this interesting comment from @LosTigeros and I tried to follow the steps he provided. Like him, I own a Mi 9T Pro and I was using version 20.12.9 Beta (MIUI 12.3, Android 10 QKQ1.190825.002) (which is now around a year old).

1. I made a backup of everything just in case
2. Dirty flash from 20.12.9 Beta to 21.11.17 Beta, clearing dalvik/cache. Upgrade worked fine and the phone booted normally after a few minutes on the MIUI logo screen
3. Dirty flash from 21.11.17 Beta to latest stable (xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK20ProMI9TPro_V12.5.6.0.RFKCNXM_v12-11.zip), clearing dalvik/cache again. Same as above.

Everything I use on a daily basis seems to work fine. I've only encountered a problem launching the Xiaomi Gallery app (version 2.3.1.7), it just crashes. Third party gallery apps work fine. I've noticed that this seem to be a known bug (as reported on various posts/threads) and I'm looking into a solution (clearing the cache didn't solve the issue and it's not possible to clear the app data).

Thanks again to @LosTigeros for trying this solution and reporting it on the forums and to @geoorg for his help and various suggestions :emoji_blush:

Hello,

You can install this zip in TWRP to fix/update the MIUI Gallery app => TWRP_MIUI_Gallery_xiaomi.eu_3.3.1.10_Installation.zip

;)

Thanks for your suggestion!

I followed the steps provided on this post from @geoorg and it seems to have fixed the issue. Now I'm not sure if I should install your zip anyway because I'm using version 2.3.1.7 of the Gallery app and, according to the file name, that zip file would install version 3.3.1.10 (which should be newer)
If the issue has been fixed, then no need installing the zip. (The intention of the zip was to fix the issue anyway) ;)

MI10T lite 5G - Problems deleting pictures from Gallery. When syncronization with MI Cloud is enabled, a delete operation is not completed. Exiting the Gallery is possible by restarting. After turning off the syncronization the deletion is done immediately! The error occurred only after the update 21.11.24.

The problem was solved by turning the syncronization on and off!

You don't have to install my zip file if MIUI Gallery version 2.3.1.7 is working fine for you. ;)

But - if you want - you can update the MIUI Gallery app version by using my zip file, without issue. :)

Hey, thanks for mentioning me. Glad it worked out fine for you too!
About the gallery not working - for future reference:
I had to remove `databases`, `files` and `shared_prefs` directories from `/data/data/com.miui.gallery`. It can be done from OrangeFox Recovery or Terminal Emulator with root access. After that it'll work fine.

Edit *11/28/2021 9:40AM*
I've modified my comment about switching to include that.

Me too. Did anybody solve it? Did it go well in the previous week's version?
I tried to install the newest version of AA, and delete all AA's data, but neither didn't help me.
Yes it was ok on previous week version. This week build is the problem not android 12 not the aa app not the car screen.

When I cast something with google cast (for example my chromecast) and at the same time I see a video (for example on youtube) if I go to change the volume, the three bar are not aligned (and the left one in cutted off)

Yes. Feels laggy when scrolling. But not crashing.

What I noticed is games lag more than it used to compare to A11.
Also the unspeakable individual Dark Mode is gone, now that I tried with fresh install. But it's Xiaomi's fault.

The open question for myself is: When is the last known ROM with working Individual Dark Mode settings..

Oh thanks for that, what a pain, yeah dont think ill go down the root option. You would think this would be a standard feature on any phone in this day and age, So missed.

I'm tired of writing to developers, I'll write it down here again.
after updating to 12 android, some applications pandora bt + pandora spec stopped working, but they successfully work on samsung s21 with android 12!!

In the telegram application, the upper speaker began to click at the start of sound playback??!! For the the test, I returned to the 11 android - everything is ok with these application.

so the problem is in the 12 android, and since it works on the samsung c21, it means the problem is in MIUI android 12 ON MI 11 int....

- telegram clicks the upper speaker at the beginning sound playback
- pandora bt + pandora spec applications not working

What is the point of having 6Gb RAM if it is not being used? The more RAM (faster memory) being used, the more efficiently your phone is running - more apps, routines, data, etc. are being held and more immediately available from RAM, rather than accessing them through the slower standard memory.
This is assuming that memory is being managed well - which it is in this case.

Mi 11 is going great, everything is ok now. The battery also lasts a long time. Apps are also running great so far
