agree, on MIUI8 many things do not work:
contacts FC, aliexpress cannot connect, huge battery drain with bluetooth, memory usage is higher.
Howerver sound issue has gone on cancro

wifi does not hurt however.

indeed, as said those bugs are expected and there are also great things to test, I run MIUI8 on a spare phone I use for tests. My daily driver xiaomi is still running an april stable rom ...

6.6.12 seems fine on Mi 4LTE, browser search crash still there but overall it's fine, i can reach 2.1GB of free ram so it's optimized on that side!

make a miui backup , copy it to a PC
reboot TWRP, wipe user data + cache, install MIUI7 from TWRP.
restore your MIUI backup.

The lastes MIUI8 has been installed in my Mi4w, everything seems fine. Contact diak fc issue has been solved and new App lock in Setting has been added... Great work eu team!
