I may be wrong, but it seems that there is no Android 12 compatible TWRP available for this device.

I just wanted to point the steps I've followed.
Device: Xiaomi Mi 12/ Model 2201123G
All steps succesfull till TWRP should be loading and then enter PIN/Pattern/Password
Device in fastboot mode, recognized in ''fastboot devices'' command with numbers and letters.
fastboot.exe boot twrp.img doesn't load TWRP.
Used https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=15664248565197208672 TWRP, unzipped, renamed with twrp.img in adb folder.

Try to disable your PIN etc before and then try it again.

I' m understanding that after displaying the letters and number fastboot doesn't get to flash the recovery image.

If so:

1) Make sure you enter fastboot mode with the cable unplugged.

2) Launch the fastboot command and when it shows "waiting for device .." or so, then plug in the cable.

No,because that's a downgrade and it's recommanded to format data.

Instagram seems normal and no problems with YouTube either

How did you flash magisk btw , via twrp or by patching the boot.img ?

Flash it with TWRP, it's easy and fast.

set the application's "Get device information" permission to something other than "Return empty messages".

@Onurads I had the same issue on my F4 with the newest Instagram update. I just granted permission for everything in the instagram app and then it worked for me.

The lower part was not updated (as you can guess with the number of recovery ROMs available)

No, it's a recovery ROM. It is installed using TWRP. Fastboot ROM will not be issued if working TWRP is available.
If the name of the ROM does not contain the word "fastboot", it is a recovery ROM.

No, never. There is always only one (preferably Recovery version of ROM, and Fastboot only if there is no working custom recovery for that particular Device).

Before asking, please take 15 minutes and read like 5-10 past pages, and you will certainly find the answer to this kind of question

You guys (developers) are dong a great job here! Thanks for the effort! I have never found any ROM better than what you are doing. Hopefully one day, Google will allow us to increase the call volume on the speaker as this is my only issue with android phones.

But in stable it only asks as bluetooth. (Although in stable contact and dialer are more up-to-date). Can you help with this?
