Help please: Not able to pick up incoming calls on Pocophone. Problem started after I updated from last EU weekly to latest EU stable ROM.

Scenario 1 (call comes when not using phone): When an incoming call comes the ringtone plays, but screen remains off. I turn on the screen & still the call incoming screen is nowhere to be seen. I multitask, lock/unlock phone, open dialer, pull down notification bar, etc but nowhere do I find the incoming call screen.

Scenario 2 (call comes when I'm using the phone): Ringtone starts playing but the incoming call screen is nowhere to be found. I try to do all the options above but nothing works.

In both the scenarios, I just get a missed call notification at the end. Temporary solution: I run to plug in my earphones and then press the multi function button on it to answer the call!

This definitely started after I flashed latest EU Stable couple days back. (Absolute clean install after wiping everything except internal storage) Never have i faced this problem before.

Any ideas on what settings should I tweak?

Sure, I'm using it on Mi 8 with the latest official TWRP.

I don't have any Bluetooth related problem either with my Bluedio TN headphones or mi band 4. May be a clean flash solves your problem.

There are several apps that I can't change their settings to grant them the location access. Apps are of house control type, so it is bothering as they do fail to automate services such as "deactivate lotion sensors when I am home"

I wouldn't recommend flashing the latest 11.0.6.0 mi 8 stable.
After updating from 11.0.5.0 both vibration feedback and OK Google voice activation was broken..

@Stuff - please take the new Mi8 EE Rom down until the next or an improved release. It has major bugs (as you can read in the bugs thread) and it's maybe best not to offer it anymore until there is a new version, so that other users won't be affected.

Since the MI 9 Lite is the first xiaomi for me, I have a question. When I use speakerphone the display seems to shut down, but then it awakes up again. If I want to block the display with the button, it doesn't block. Is always awake. Is this a normal behavior for Xiaomi? In my old phone I could block the display during calls.

For me the MIX 2S works unencrypted very smooth with the latest Miui 11 on Android 10

Yes, depends on when it was built, but by large - yes. Android 9+ obviously.
