No, I updated just fine from latest stable HyperOS 1.0 to the latest stable HyperOS 2.0 without formatting.

If that were the case, it would be mentioned in the first post. All informations can be found there.
Clean install is always recommended and sometimes necessary, but not necessary in that case.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra again. Phone is unusable.

One press on power to switch off screen turns the screen completely off, no AOD, screen cant be turned back on.
Then it crashes. Other times pressing power button again wakes the screen up but only after 1 minute.
Most of the times, once the scereen is turned off by short pressing power button once the device will have to be rebooted.

For me (fuxi) circle search is working, ai dynamic wallpapers are not (i think china rom server issues).

Not a problem, it's a Xiaomi online feature and your Xiaomi Account doesn't have permissions for it.

Same thing for me!

Find "Polaris" in the installed apps list and Clear Data.

I understand it just was eazy and better that way. Now need just to get used to it

Just installed on 13 Ultra ISHTAR. Updated from HyperOS 1.
Lots of apps freezing or refusing to open followed by device rebooting.
