If your device has a global version and the rom you are using is china based, it works fine.
Okay so you mean, if I buy the global version and then install xiaomi EU, these Google feature will work. But if I buy the China version and then install xiaomi EU, they won't work, because they wouldn't have worked on the China version anyways?

Let's put it this way so you understand: some devices are only released in a Chinese version without a global variant, in China Google apps are not used, and therefore there is no support for using the hotword "Ok Google".
And some devices are launched in a Chinese version and with a global variant. In this case, even using a Chinese-based ROM, using the hotword "ok google" works well.

What is your device?

Does Google assistant feature work? Like "Hey Google" ?
Xiaomi 14 pro, HyperOs 2.0, xiaomi.eu_SHENNONG_OS2.0.7.0.VNBCNXM_15, Google assistant working with this version.
The previous version xiaomi.eu_SHENNONG_OS2.0.6.0.VNBCNXM_15
When using the application it gave me an error.
Just out of curiosity I just set up Google Assistant.
Ok Google....and it works.
Mi 14 pro had the Chinese rom.

Just to correct this explanation - Voice Match ("OK Google") works fine on all ROMs with Gapps using software hotword detection.
Invoking Voice Match when the screen is off requires hardware-specific blobs and a Global model name (required by Google), which is why a Global variant must exist to enable DSP hotword detection for a Chinese device.

Hello,

Same problem on my side, HyperOS 2.0 on my Xiaomi 14.

Or even a return to the latest version HyperOS 1.0 of Xiaomi.eu, I have no network at all on my SIM card.

Does anyone know if it's possible to update system apps or Xiaomi apps? It tells me that system apps can't be installed from unofficial sources.

By the way, the Mi Connect error still persists on the Redmi K70 PRO.

Yes, it is the expected behaviour.
For the Mi Connect error, Igor Eisberg said that he cannot investigate until he has a device with HyperOS 2

@guanyan Yes, you can flash back the original ROM. Keep in mind, if you choose to lock the bootloader, I don't know if it you will be able to unlock in again

If you are using the Xiaomi.eu ROM, it means that your bootloader is unlocked.
