If you mean on lock screen there is a setting, if you mean on notification shade, there is no such feature in MIUI.

Very odd behavoiur with Google Maps. When navigating, pressing Home makes a small map appear on top of apps as expected. But now if i try to expand it back (needs to be pressed twice) - it starts passing taps to overlapped app instead of going back fullscreen. Pretty annoying.

I have this bug on previous version of Google maps after update app all is ok. Is Google fault.

I had 9.6.27 in my mi8, updated to 9.7.4 and had to get back because of the known stability problems... And it was even worse with android auto. Last week I tried 9.7.11 with the same results but I could not get back again to 9.6.27. Even tried doing a backup of DATA and factory reset but, when triyng to install the saved backup with 9.6.27, the phone never got past the mi logo. Finally, installed 9.7.11, the saved backup of the DATA partition and.... not a single issue. Everything is smooth and peefectly running. No black screens, no random resets... Norhing..
So this might be a possible solution: backup DATA partition, then wipe DATA and system, install 9.7.11 and the saved backup and everything should be back to normal...

The wifi word changed to WLAN
The wifi is working fine.....
But it suppose to be Wifi not WLAN

So far so good the ROM is stable, just minor echos with the luncher + theme ( when i update Apps from Play Store, the icons become big untill i reboot phone then everything smooth).

It's WLAN on China ROMs, which are the base for our ROMs. WLAN and Wi-Fi are used interchangeably, just get used to it.

FIX: for snapdragon 845 devices, like Mix2s, Mix3, Mi8, i found a fix from myself for the problem in v9.7.11 build.
Go into Developer Options menu and enable Force GPU Render
Tested on Mix2s

My proximity sensor does not work. Everything else works fine. The thing is I just replaced the screen. It may be a problem because of it. or it may be because of the release. I flash persist img as the rest of the internet suggest. didn't work.
No question just a statement. Maybe someone may assist me with advice

However, the 9.7.4 and 9.7.11 are the worst in a long time.
Thus, the criticism is appropriate.

What are you talking about? "Full screen display" and "Fullscreen Mode" are two entirely different settings. If you have a problem with the "suggestions" at the bottom, complain to Xiaomi.

My method I used is wipe system, data and cache then put phone into fastboot then push the older update using abd. Yes mix 3.

Ps this will wipe everything and you do at your own risk

1. Might have been removed, not sure.
2. It's now officially available in MIUI as "Double tap to wake or turn off screen". Can't be toggled separately anymore.
