Im in a Mi8 SE, and Im trying to flash TWRP 1227 to install the rom.The flash process says ok, but if never reboot to the recovery. If i try to fash TWRP 1217 , it fash it ok and reboots ok into the recovery... Any help ot flash TWRP 1227?
Can I install this rom with TWRP 1217 instead of 1227

What have you done in the end?
If it works for you, it happened to me with the 9.2.14
I installed TWRP 1227 and it did not boot in recovery.
install the 1102 again and boot in recovery
install ROM OK

Tested hotspot multiple times and it works fine. Has to be something with your network specifically.





Dark mode = Night mode. It's not accessible from search.
Settings -> Additional settings -> Developer options -> Night mode.

You're right. My SIM card was causing network failures and settings. Everything works now. Thank you for the tip. Mi5

I flashed twrp 1217, but cant make the 1227 work... So far im with the ROM 8.12.13 and twrp 1102. Not sure if i can update to 9.3.7 or i will come in a bootloop...

Can only speak for WhatsApp - no problem with notifications. Perhaps activating Autostart for it might help - for me it works.

The problem of changing from dark mode to light mode can't last long still persists.

One simple way to redo the issue is, after changing to Night mode OFF, if I kill all opened apps, the night mode is back. It's quite annoying.

Can we have light mode (day mode?) as the default in next release?

I can't get my battery/wifi icons to go back to the POCO theme. I've tried disabling dark mode and reapplying the theme but they don't change, although the wallpapers do. Is it possible that I messed up my themes app?

Wiping cache and dalvik does anything. I am going to clean flash the rom and test again.

Or switch to another system language, "english" for example to see, if it's a translation bug. Once Google Calendar wasn't syncing beause of translation.

You can do it with 1217 or 1102 twrp. no problem. Just don't forget to install 1227 twrp BEFORE rebooting the system rom!
('reboot in recovery and flash or install 1227 img) then use the rom.
