I solved the Google Play Store battery drain issue by uninstaling Facebook and installing an alternative version of the fb app.

My battery is back to normal.

Compatibility of viper with Mi 8 and magisk issue been around a little while. You either have to dirty flash Ron or use mm recovery manager to sort out. In the meantime, as I've posted before, best alternative is flat equaliser. No issues with bootloop as not a root app

I have the same problem.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
TWRP 3.2.3-1205 on MIX3
I think TWRP was changed with last update OTA.
SD-Card mounted
normaly TWRP starts in Chinese and I have to choose English first. Now it starts in English.
normaly TWRP asks for the code for decrypting. Now it shows encrypted files, but shows no option to decrypt.
How can I force prompting for decryption?

i am hoping that will be fixed with next weekly update

If you turn off all your screen locks and finger prints, then boot into twrp... twrp won't have to decrypt

This is not true. People, you need to research. Take some time to read. There is at least one twrp that decrypts for the mix 3 in an Android 10 based rom. You need to place it on USB storage and flash it.

Has anyone else issues with the MI 8 and Magisk? Despite the fact that Magisk 20.0 is said to be working with Android 10 it causes my device to boot into fastboot mode instead of booting the OS.
