Not true. Got it installed on Mi9 and running via the magisk module.

My Mi 8 is working fine, but still I have battery drain of ~15% in standby at night.

That is a lot. Check which process is drawing it. I bet is google play services.

I also have huge battery drain on Mi 9. Down to 10% in 23 hours without even using the phone. On the roms before that it would be 4 or 5 days. Highest battery usage is by Google Services.

Confirmed. I had exactly the same. l could not last through the day, that is why I downgraded to my last good backup rom. There are already several cases of huge battery drain with google services on this rom. Something fishy is going on. I hope it will be resolved in next version.

if you don't wipe system, the zip file that you install wipe your system, ha ha
i just check one more tick in wipe option.

Good for you And if your device freeze after you have wiped system or will have a crush and restarts?
It's not if you wipe or not, the system will be wiped by flashing the ROM anyway So i did't said it's hard, i said it's useless. It's just wiped 2 times, ha ha

In such cases I strongly recommend to update Google play service to the most recent version.
It seems the one delivered with the Rom is not optimised for android 10, so please try and report back, regards.

I think, the last month, the problem of drain battery is not the Rom, is Google working in the background all the time, focused with the ******* gps service. I disconnected the gps and stop drain battery. Before Miui11 i have Miui10 june beta working perfect and any update of Google started the ******* drain.

If it's android 10 you have now, I don't think there's battery saver for GPS, you select what apps use it and how much, that could be the battery drain

Settings> Passwords & security> Unlock with face> Turn off stay on lock screen after unlocking.
