dirty installing this broke my install. It seems to be down to the download coming with a recovery install. What happened was that when trying to install the system did not want to boot after install and going back to recovey just caused bootloop. Reinstalling TWRP then did not prompt me with decryption and did not work with command line decrypt either.

Clean installed on top of that and after setting up I went to TWRP to make a backup and noticed that TWRP has been reinstalled again with a new version (noticed due to different TWRP boot logo and language set to chinese by default which my install did not).

Why was TWRP included in this package for MIX3?

Go to terminal via custom recovery and type this command :

echo KEEPVERITY=false>>/data/.magisk
echo KEEPFORCEENCRYPT=false>>/data/.magisk

Back to menu, and flash your magisk. Reboot.

When installing the improved version of monday, a twrp flashed on my own. I uploaded a photo.
works great but how does that work?
anyone have a clue?

I have a same problem on my mi 9se,and i get a new update 19.10.17. v2, bot i can't install it via update aplication

  • If you have a special module in magisk (e.g. smali patcher / viper ...) you have to remove this modules BEFORE flashing.
  • If you dont remove it before you will be in a bootloop.
  • If you install the old rom version, it should work and you can remove the module.
You can install "Magisk Manager for Recovery Mode" and you are able to disable / delete the special module
or use "magisk uninstaller" without installing the old firmware

I did not have it installed, but when I restarted recovery only came the normal 3.3.1, restarted again and then wa of this recovery on it. I just do not know why. but it works really well

the clean installation means to clean data, dalvik and cache
 
Where is video in screen volume up/down and brightness brighter/darker function?!

In previous ROMs, when you watch a video, you could handle the brightness and volume easily, just swipe up or down in right edge or left edge on the video to handle the volume and brightness.. In newer ROM this isnt working just close the video.

Where it is? This is was a very good feature for one handed video watching.

Now you must 2-3 plus movement to handle this.

I searched the Internet for the .img but not found. As if with magic hand it is on the mix 3 now on it. Would it like to install this recovery on the mix 3 of my wife but do not know where I get the .img ago
 
Mi Mix 3 - last update, TWRP-3.3.1-1015-wzsx150, clear install, all wipe's.
- Battery don't drain fast;
- Ai button Google assistant works;
- Bluetooth works fine;
I did't find any serious bugs, all works, I'm happy.

Yeah... I'm gonna skip v2 on my K20 Pro and just wait a newer release. Perhaps it could be back again... Of course I'll live with whichever the option devs choose, but although I liked more the new icon, I would say that to resolve the issue, devs should stick to the Xiaomi decision on this case, as the rom is based on miui 11.

But well, that's just my 2 cents on the issue... I will skip v2 not just because of this, but because I don't see anything wrong on my device with v1. My isp has a strict control on bandwidth usage and I've already toped mine this month, so I'll wait until a newer version is released...

We have no such bug. You're using a third-party theme.


This is currently a limitation of MIUI. Live wallpaper takes over as the wallpaper provider and only one can be used at a time. You can ask Xiaomi to improve their code.

I had magisk module Bypass inject miui 10 theme to 11. I disable it and fixed. But now miui 10 theme not work in 11. Can you consider to enable miui 10 theme in the rom

Mi8 with MIUI 11 9.10.17

Problems to connect with the simcard, asks for the security pin, but doesn't have any connection.
