MIMO 4x4, Never.
The device does not have the required hardware.
It should already support up to 4CA, based on the Chipset spec, but also dependant if Xiaomi bought the "additional features" license from Qualcomm to enable the full range of CA, or only the core set.

That's good to know and I see that the *new* file size for MI 8 is bigger as well.

Any ideas what changed? I feel that the version that was uploaded on Jan 24th (9.1.24) for MI 8 is rock solid.

I guess the re-uploaded version will only make it even better.
