Unlocked my MI 8 bootloader, flashed Pitchblack Recovery and Xiaomi.eu 9.1.17 weekly.
Another device running this fine ROM.

Had some trouble initially since it wouldn't boot / was stuck in a bootloop but that was because I only wiped /data instead of formatting it.
Coming from official global beta this doesn't work due to encryption ?

Maybe mention that bit in OP / first page of future releases ?
When coming from encrypted MIUI Rom & locked bootloader Format /data not just wipe.


Now back to setting everything up again weeeeee

mi 6x after a reboot, fingerprints are dropped, you have to add them again and when the proximity sensor is fixed it does not work correctly

Everything went fine - no issues!
Magisk 18 supplied via Pitchblack Recovery installed and running.
 
Crash the gallery app while editing the portrait photos.
Even deleting the app's cache will not improve.
I already reported it as a bug.

question especially to POCO users....

Does Step Counter work at your POCO ?

I am on Max 2 and got my new POCO last week. Both phones have 9.1.17 EU installed.

Now I am in migration phase (Max2 -> POCO) and use both phone some days in parallel to see if all is ok.
But I have no access to step counter. At POCO I can not see it on Smart Assistant. And no possibility found to activate.
Max 2 is ok.

Has anybody of POCO users ever seen step counter ? Please can you check it ?

Maybe it is rom issue, but if it is so, I think this is not miui.eu related.
Specification of POCO says it has step counter and all sensor analysing apps I used for checking says there is step counter.
But nothing to see.:(

First of all I can't root with Magisk via TWRP on this build. Getting bootloop trying several versions of Magisk (18, 17.1, 16.7) any clues?
As for the this week build, no major issues so far in few days. Just can't get rid of the following notification (keep asking me to add fingerprint which I don't want to do) :

No Step counter If i enable smart Assistent.
I use my Bip to count steps, counter on phone ist useless, my opinion.

Latest build battery life has gone worse on Mi6.
At least 30% faster discharge with the same usage.
I used to get about 36 hours on a single charge. Now I get about 24.
Other than that, seems sleek and as always great work by the volunteers !

Will you add a new option？I prefer the percent outside the battery than inside.
I'm gonna be happy if you can do so.
