After upgrading Mix 2s to android 9 i can see that there is video recording 1080p with 60FPS, but when i record i can see no difference between 30FPS.
Also boot time take so long, like ~80secs

Still Problems with mix2 and charging. Phone starts/stops charging when reaching 100% - keeps in cycle ~5 seconds status change- vibrates because of this and turns screen light on -> wakes me up in the night

someone have problems with notifications? some doesnt sound but it shows in the bar, some like telegram doesnt work.

yes, same here with newest 8.9.13 on Mi8, i had missing notifications for telegramm and whatssapp too. Is there a solution on this?

Everything smooth as far as I can see .. noticed only one (very annoying) thing: no notifications on Whatsapp and Hangouts .. please fix soon.

Have you checked your notification settings? I get notifications from both of them on default settings

Yes, it works perfect with MI8 and 8.8.30, had no possibility to test it with 8.9.13.

I've used it on versions with android 8.1, but was not able to configure it with magisk/other patches few weeks ago on android 9.0. Can someone with 8.9.13 confirm this?

Had configured it yesterday with 8.9.13 without issues but had no terminal for testing the payment process.

Instaled in Mi8 following this and all is ok. No issues, camera works.
Thanks to the developers for their excellent work and support.
The system takes a longer time to boot than previous versions but not a big problem.

Updated on Mi8, did a factory reset. Everything works fine so far.

Could somebody tell me how the Ambient Display should works in this MIUI version for Mi 8 (because it is new feature in this ROM) ? I tried to turn on it but i think it is not working.

Works fine on MI 8 so far but install only possible after factory reset. This is annoying.

i fixed the notifications on telegram, i just to readd the sound in settings---- notification and sounds------ sound the default setting is default but i choose again the sound and it works again.

i guess the same happens to whatapps just need to choose the sound again

Updated from MIUI 10 Stable to my Mi 8.
Had issues opening the display settings, my onscreen dialer didn't come up handling incoming and outgoing calls.

After factory reset as instructed in the main post I couldn't encounter any problems on the Mi 8.

Android Pie seems fast and stable, battery drain looks ok so far.

In Mix 2s the volume button sets the sound of the media and not the sound of the phone

It is written on the first page:
"For ROOT install Magisk in TWRP and reboot one more time after install to get rid of system lags"
Basically your root is wiped out after update, so You have to install it once again.
