Just download rom and install from twrp.
You can also clean cache app updater or do wipe data in twrp.

Oh, sorry, my mistake, it was Global Developer ROM, not China

A small correction - xiaomi.eu ROM's are based on China Dev ROM, not Global, with exception of one, that being for the HMNote3 SE release (Kate).

For anyone who could use this info, i am not trying to criticise EU community, On Mi8 i formatted and reflashed latest Global Stable with MiFlash , did setup and reflashed twrp and Globerom latest rom , i now have working GPS again with no hiccups !
I am not sure if the Global Stable helped at all , only that that was the order of events that i used and i am satisfied with the results !
Addendum: I have working Magisk 16.7 with Safety Net GREEN .

Does Magisk work with this version? If yes, which magisk version? Omega user here, asking before I install anything, mostly interested in the root hiding feature of magisk. Any recommendations?
