OTA update also goes through TWRP recovery so no difference in final result...I have a question, is there any different between OTA and twrp update ? I just heard about opening folder issue from twrp version, so how about OTA update ? It's released later, still issues exist ? Thanks

Report it to the translation team, contacts on page 1. Maybe they all went on Christmas vacation?Iwent back to last weeks version because menues are in English instead of Dutch.....
No problems with Mix2 here.Latest Mi MIX 2 ROM leads to frequent, spontaneous reboots and today one device shutdown.
Anyone else with that problem?
choose Google in the setting, it's ok nowGoogke search in the address bar in mi browser does not work (mi6)
+1Dirty flashed from 8.11.15 (just wiped cache and dalvik). No problems so far. The only minor issue is that auto brightness is a bit too aggressive and makes the screen a bit too dimm. Mi 8.
Good idea, did not realise myself the problem could be in the translation. Just reported it. Thanks for the advise.Report it to the translation team, contacts on page 1. Maybe they all went on Christmas vacation?
Sending from mi 8Greats job dev the rom works perfectly so many thank
Thanks for the reply, muff99!MI6 works great, but if you use a high 2.4 GHZ Wifi channel (I for exmaple use 13), you dont see your wifi network any more.
As a fix you can either wait for the next release or change a line in your /system/build.prop, look for ro.miui.wifi.region and ensure it is set to GB (=the whole line reads: ro.miui.wifi.region=GB), then restart. Igor also has a small flashable zip that does that, you can find it here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/mwwnbw0p24jept7/WiFiTestGB.flashable.zip/file
Flash Magisk 17.2 then update to 18.0. This is how I solved this issue on my MM3

They still appear because the Telegram app deletes its own notification channels and recreates them, which is a dirty behavior that overrides the user's control over the notifications. All you can do is to leave them a bad review on Play Store and ask them to remove this behavior.Anyone knows how to disable telegram floating notifications? I've done it in app settings and in system settings, but they still appear.
What do you mean by stable poco fingerprint?Hope original stable poco fingerprint will added to next build.
It's safe to flash for everybody in the EU region. Next release Wi-Fi should be fine for everybody. Is this wifi fix recommended to flash on all devices, or only "as needed"?
I have not had any problems so far, have noticed that the phone hotspots will now choose higher channels, e.g.161, than previously, but everything will connect.
It would be nice to know eventually exactly what has been changed wrt wifi, perhaps later on when the dust has settled
Curious if Xiaomi will be pushing out any updates to their EU-located routers related to this.
Still running an old Mi Mini router located to "Mainland China" so that the router app & Mi Home app will work.
I can imagine that there may eventually be a problem with that.
Hope original stable poco fingerprint will added to next build.
You both have no clue what he's talking about. He wasn't talking about the fingerprint scanner. Just ignore and continue with your life...Yeah.. "interesting" Posting...?? I mean I'm on latest .20 build with working Fingerprint.
What do you expect more?? Mmmm
