on Mi 8: sometimes after swiping up or using any other kind of gesture, it shows only my wallpaper without the icons. I usually have to do a swipe up gesture again to stop the glitch and get back to my actual home screen..

anyone else got this issue?

Mi Mix. i can not confirmed. Just test it. Maps works with no issue.

Then there is something peculiar in my Mix1 that provokes this.

But I did do a clean install on my Note 2 with the same bug, just to test, and that did not help.

So probably some other app or setting I have running provokes this.

But I can't think of anything else reasonable to try.

I wanted to install EU ROM:

- flashed TWRP-3.2.3-1110
- Wipe /data partition
- installed latest miui xiaomi.eu.

when I reboot my phone it is stuck on Mi logo...

Was a bit unusual...when I putted my mi account, was appeared error unauthorized SIM card (Italian one), so I putted in a chinese one that was arrived when I bought mi pad, anyway gave me same error. So angry I putted again my Italian SIM card n had not error anymore. I began unlock n it was immediately, I don't know if it was a bug or account or something else...

Did you swipe to confirm install at the end of flashing ROM?
If you wiped system and flashed ROM then choosed to not install twrp app as system app, it will reboot without confirm to install rom, please redo the process and make sure to swipe to confirm at the end of flashing ROM.

- download latest twrp version for your device and send a copy to ur phone internal storage
- on the first rebooting through ADB u are in twrp right.so from there click on install image and choose the image u have previously saved in ur phone internal storage than reboot system... hope it helps

The problem is that when I command to reboot on adb or fastboot it doesn't reboot to twrp... Black screen...

Thanks again for your work xiaomi.eu team. There are a lot of different devices to look after for you guys and I don't doubt this is a lot of work. I'm a software engineer myself and I can imagine how many glitches and bugs you have to fix but I am completely with Guiseppe64. 960fps video is not working on Mi8 and could have been added when we have a stable foundation near to the end of the beta phase. The most annoying thing for me is that always on is only working with the stock themes for three releases now. I'd love to have a backlog available or you would be a bit more transparent about what you consider important and whats rather nice to have and what's tackled when. Anyways, thanks.

I understand that the work is all free and voluntary but why not mibackup system, automatic brightness and battery management and you look at other things much less important? Unfortunately I am forced to abandon this Roma until these things are arranged on mi8
