Is it possible to add some features to Redmi 4 prime.
PLease add some changes for camera - manual additional options.

To have camera with full manual options open and edit buid.prop replacing markw with gemini in the following 2 lines:
ro.product.name=markw => ro.product.name=gemini
ro.product.device=markw => ro.product.device=gemini

Reboot and you have camera with white balance, focus, exposure and iso with manual options.

I cant activate VOLTE on mi5s, the option IS grey color....

Volte is from last week's update greyed out when your Network is not supported.
In Germany for example, my Mi5s in not supported on Telekom. My brother's MI4s on o2 works on Volte without any issue.

I hope Telekom stops limiting Volte to few Smartphones only soon...

It's your screen's resolution that's why I think.

Yours is 720 x 1280 pixels
Mine is 1080 x 1920 pixels

Update went fine, Android Security patch level 2017-02-01 now on land.

Screen recorder does work, although the quality is really bad compared to AZ Screen recorder (doesn't need root). Max bitrate is 1Mbps.

Yes, I can also set it to 480x800. But that's no reason to limit the bitrate.

You have a larger screen resolution, seems they didn't test it much on HD screen devices.

Hi, anyone having trouble trying to pay with the Mi5 using NFC?
My bank app is granted with all the permissions, however the phone does nothing when approaching to a payment terminal.
Am I missing something?

I have a question that is not related to this week's release, but the other thread is now closed.

Some users reported a problem with Armani 7.1.20 rom (error 7 while installing with most recent twrp) but I didn't find a reply or solution from a developer.

I'm having problems using the last armani stable rom due to a very high battery drain when using location with the high accuracy setting on.

When the bug occurs the battery gets drained in less than an hour. Other users reported the same bug in a web search I did a while back.

As the stable is of no use to me, I would like to try the 7.1.20 to see if the bug was gone. Unfortunately the error 7 in twrp prohibits it.

Any solution is welcome. Thank you.

I've bricked my phone flashing TWRP. Now I have a boot loop when booting to my system. How can I transfer a zip rom file to my storage via fastboot or while I'm in TWRP?

Is there any other way to save my phone?
