Having wifi issues with this one in my Mi Mix. Sometimes wifi goes really slow and i have to reboot to make it work ok again.

After install this rom.
My Redmi4 (Prada not Prime) has been stopped 2 cores of CPU.
Is it a bug or just a feature ? Could someone help me explain or solve it ?

I think its a feature...on Mi4c also 2 cores are stopped, they activated when app or game need more performance

Something strange happens with the Smart Assistant. I have Google App as my default assistant and yet sometimes the phone seems to delete these settings and set Smart Assistant as the default assistant, so I have to go to Settings-Apps and make Google App the one default assistant almost every time.

I have an issue when flashing the ROM. I have a Redmi Pro, I unlocked the bootloader and flashed TWRP correctly. I can boot to recovery without problems.
When I try to install any .zip, it automatically tries to reboot normally after a few seconds, regardless of cheching or unchecking the zip signature verification. (I have tried the official and multilanguage ROMs). According to root checker Im not rooted (which seems logical as I have only unlocked the bootloader, as said in the tutorial).
There is no error message that I can see, it just reboots. It seems like a TWRP issue but on the official TWRP website I cannot find the Redmi Pro.
Any suggestion? Thanks in advance
Edit: I have tried using MiPC Suite but it doesnt recognize my phone. I have used the 2.3.0.9091 version both in chinese and english and I have allowed the drivers to be installed properly. I dont think it's related but just in case it is better if you have all the info possible.

Freeze the Chinese Smart Assistant with TiBu or similar app! Alternatively disabling MIUI optimization might prevent it becoming the default assistant app.
@vladpaul Most of xiaomi.eu roms are based on China Developer not global. (exception "Kate")

Maybe you can try to disable smart assistant or change its permissions. It's not the greatest solution but it might work

How did you unlock the bootloader when you have a custom/vendor rom on the device? Officially?
You may need to flash an official rom first. To avoid having problems with the device.
How to Flash MIUI 8 Fastboot ROM on Redmi Pro via SP Flash Tool
I tried the official way, through Xiaomi and it seems to work properly with no issues. As I could flash the recovery after it I supposed it worked fine. Do you think it can be the reason for this problem?
After a quick research it seems that EDL is only on Qualcomm chips, this one has MediaTek so it would not be possible, am I right?

On my mi4c same thing happened after upgrade to N7. Administrators said it is not a bug your phone turns off 2 cores when you are texting or surfing the web in order to save battery and turns everything on when any app needs CPU extra power. I imagine it is the same on your redmi 4.

I had this wacky custom ROM too, when the phone came from China. It ain't that easy to just unlock bl and than flash new ROM with it through TWRP. I did it with the instructions i found on 4pda.ru. the main thing is that you need to boot to TWRP right after installation, format data, reboot and enter TWRP again, wipe data/cache/dalvik/system than install new ROM. After installing new ROM BEFORE REBOOT wipe cache/dalvik again. Last reboot. This worked for me

You didn't say for what device, just flash latest supersu.zip in TWRP. I use 2.79-SR3!

Flash the latest SuperSU 2.79 with TWRP and everything should go fine as it did on my Note 4.
