@graw2 My apoligies, looks like xiaomi have implemented security patches that effect the version of xposed that can be used.
Hence why the device can not be rooted with older versions of it.

Was experimenting with boot images <<<< (link to a full post so not going off topic here).

Successfully now rooted on 7.1.5.


Edit: - Others probably reported but the "search" app keeps crashing, solution was to wipe the app data.

Thanks for the new rom, but the GPS on Redmi3 still doesn't work properly in Italy and I have to use TopNTP in order to fix it.

Updated my Redmi PRO to this ROM, everything looks fine for me. Battery consumption is great until you plug in the charger which in my case takes ages to fill the battery in full.

Which device? Which language? Where is the log of that search FC?

6.12.29 everything was fine.
 
RedMi Note 4, Battery performance is worse, FC in several apps randomly(chrome mainly), delay of notifications(whatsapp), I'm back to previous version, everything is okay.

Through several negotiations between Xiaomi Security Center engineers and Google engineers, finally, we are able to implement our own installer app with a cooler user interface, as well as the pre-installation anti-virus scanning feature!

there is no lock option for mi4 fastboot rom but I confirmed the same for mi4 8.1.4 in my case.
under fastboot just do 'fastboot oem unlock' and you're done.
Note that if you don't unlock, booting twrp lower the screen light that it is almost unusable ... funny.
Again, just unlock via fastboot, no permission required.
 
The same issue in the mi mix about the one handed mode, its start alone with single touch in the buttons.
Also now I lose network cellular data surfing
 
Hi, I am very sad, for about 2 weeks that My GPS dont work. Since recent updates I cant use runtastic, it Just cant get GPS signal. Hoping to fix soon.

Same on RMN3 MTK.

Swedish works if you change launcher, running Nova Launcher and Swedish ATM, no problems..
