If you have root you can try to disable service and packages on which it depends.

Why would anyone remove remote.apk?? Just beacose you dont use it?

If you don't like the remote app. Freeze it in TiBu. Or remove it your self using adb!
“adb uninstall packagename” for that app :- “adb uninstall com.duckan.phone.remotecontroller”.
If you don't needed and it makes you trouble just freeze/uninstall by Titanium payed version or by free app called Lucky patcher.

Unfortunately don't have fingerprints sensor so can't check.

For a start if you don't have will to play with battery stats apps, Redownload rom but on pc and transfer after on sdcard. Wipe all data on device or factory reset it in twrp. Reinstall rom. Do not use any xiaomi services(backup/restore, cloud etc.) in fact don't login into xiaomi account on device.
Setup Google account, uncheck Google services which don't use, google fit etc.
Disable Google locations completely, not just gps.
Use normally for a day as it is, ofc freely install apps from Google Playstore.
See how is your battery consumption.
Next day if you are satisfied with situation use xiaomi services and restore features.
Now you have good baseline for rest of use.
P.s. While testing battery avoid using Google now and others app which depends on location services.
Could bet that it's either issue made while installing or much higher chance, problem in xiaomi services or location services.
