goo dot gl slash L6m3E8 will enable LTE preferred option (no LTE only, sadly). But it also change the camera, app transition animation, calculator, and theme engine. A slight bug I found is you can't activate lock screen carousel from 3rd party launcher. It works if you use default launcher, and if you change back to your launcher after activating carousel, everything will still works fine.

I think it's because com.android.documents.ui is disabled if it's enabled it pops up a material design selection interface. Xiaomi has replaced it with their own selection interface but it seems missing for you.

Then just go in settings>installed apps and check if Documents is enabled

Redmi note 2 Prime: Installed after wipe, the Miui8 is lightly slower than M7. Also with the latest version I have problems with Inbox by Gmail app. It keeps closing after sending an email or archive an older one. Tried to downgrade to an earlier app version, but happens the same. Syncing keeps forever, had to unlick and click on syncing to dissapear from the notification screen.

Confirmed. MIUIv5 was the last release where the camera worked well in Mi2S

i have a problem, when i'm not on wifi some app can't connect to internet, only chrome and google play seems to work, whatsapp, youtube , gmaps can't. i checked the apn and the permissions but i can't find anything wrong

@ingbrzy : I tried to update TWRP for aqua, but, as I said last week, this specific TWRP is NOT in English, only asiatics languages.

I ask you if, kindly, can you update it (also i'ts an "old" 2.8.*, but of course it's not a problem, everything is working well even with miui v8)

Just wanted to say that the I have the HM2014812 of the Redmi 2S/Pro, and it only works with the HM2014811 rom (wt88047) and not with the HM2014813 rom (wt86047) as mentioned in the table on the first page.

For the other forum users who have the Redmi 2S/Pro, this could be interesting info:

Am i the only facing "Error7" while flashing 6.6.23 on my redmi note 2? I tried many times to re-download my rom (HMnote2) but still get this error. I wiped everithing but sdcard

You have either wrong version of twrp or you are trying to flash wrong rom version.

It is not a bug. It is what we call Mathemathics and that is how it should calculate. You do not 19.99 - .2 to get 20% dc, also 19.99 - 19.99 * .2 = 15.992 is CORRECT. Unless, you actually substract 19.99 and expect 0 * .2 then you lad has bug.

Port TWRP 3 via usb and make sure you are flashing HMnote2 and please do format the entire sdcard (not external sdcard) when flashing.
