1. Call *#*#4636#*#*
2. Pilih simcard yg mau dimunculkan lte nya. Contoh: phone information1 itu sim1
3. Scroll ke bawah nanti nemu set preferred network type.
4. Pilih yg paling panjang tulisannya biar lengkap nerima sinyalnya..

For everyone who has this problem too, get into testing mode by call the number above. Open the sim you want to have lte, scroll down and you will see set preferred network. Choose the signal you want.

I try this but nothing happen. As i mention earlier when choose connection that contain LTE the network wouldn't change.

Big BUG to move this device from 4.4 to 5.1

OK I figured out how to flash 5.1 MIUI8 on 2014813 when coming from kitkat. If you flash 5.1 MIUI8 and get stuck on the boot screen then do this:

1) Flash the latest global developer rom via fastboot "Redmi 2 Prime Latest Global Developer Version Fastboot File Download" (http://en.miui.com/a-234.html)
2) This will overwrite recovery, so then flash TWRP 3.0.2-0 for 2014813 (http://en.miui.com/thread-249552-1-1.html)
3) Reboot into TWRP recovery, wipe, and then flash the xiaomi.eu MIUI8 5.1 rom.

Battery drain is huge on Mi4. Kernel wakelocks are keeping the device awake all the time and the device is very warm all the time, around 35ºC. in 3h it drained 20% without me touching the device.

Guys..im using mi5 standard edition with 32gb storage. Im using miui 8eu with root..im installing kernel auditor.

But when i looked into the cpu frequency in kernel auditor..it just say 307-1363mhz. Did xiomi just underclock the frequency?
If im not mistaken..the mi5 standaed edition has 1.8ghz max frequency.

Plz someone enlighten me..

Just download 6.6.16 zip file into root directory and flash it through TWRP

I did it installed without any force stops.

Note : just wipe dalvik cache before and after installation

Just to say good job guys! Redmi3 is really smooth and it seems to do not have bugs.
The only thing I do not know is if lte works 'cause I do not use it.

I dont know why, but my cores work so hard, and it makes my mi4s' heat like watter boil...
I dont play game and use common apps...

Nandroid backup, wipe data, dalvik, cache and if you want system. Flash ROM, and flash superSU.zip if neccesary.

No, he means charging the battery. I plugged mine in yesterday evening and it showed a whopping 3 hours+ to be charged.
On MIUI 7 it would take less than two hours.

Plus, my battery seems to be going down a lot faster, "Android" has kept the device awake almost constantly.
Will keep an eye on this and report back.

Well everything is fine with my Mi4C, including the battery consumption. Couldn't tell the difference. Regarding the charging time I can't say - I do it during the night.

Second space is so useless.. And worst thing after i enabled it to test it now i keep getting the notification "go to second space" in notification panel that i can't dismiss in any way! Now it is always there! Fu*k.... You know a way to get rid of it? I'm speechless... Tia

No data is deleted. Whenever you do not make a wipe data.
