Just finished to install - but the SIM card it appears to be inactive and, sadly, the fingerprint sensor doesnt work. Any version with global ROM and fully functional? Its frustrating to have a fingerprint sensor for nothing...Thanks!

I have lags only below 10% battery. Only 2 cores are working then.

yes, in fact rom will install it by itself. If it is just for an install that avoids a reboot in recovery.

On my Mi4c i have the problems this below.

Themes app FC when i try to start it with nova launcher as default. (but if i change my default launcher to Miui launcher it works)
Overheating problems with different apps (even with the calculator app) or at battery charging i getting overheating notification.
Sometimes i used to get camera app FC also.

Just dirty flash over 6.6.17 and everything works fine (I mostly use Opera Mini over WIFI, and phone call, SMS... this is my everything!).

Hi, I have a problem on my Redmi Note 2,when someone send me a message on whatsapp I don't recive it if I don't open the app (especially when I unlock the phone after some minutes). There is a way to solve this problem?
PS: I made a full clean flash of the rom; there is the same problem on the phone of my girlfriend (Redmi Note 2).

1) Slow home button (4-5 sec lag)
2) Unable to set priority when sending pictures from gallery. Always have to search / scroll 3 times to reach gmail or viber

Surprisingly there was a notification bug (not getting new message notifications) on the last few MIUI 7 ROMs for me with Hangouts. The problem disappeared after the latest Hangouts app update. Right now everything is working fine for me also with WhatsApp and Viber on RN2Prime... Difficult to say if this is a specific configuration issue or a general problem with MIUI.

@ingbrzy I have a question regarding my Mi4W. I have miui V 6.5.26 (the latest miui 7 uploaded here). So I have merged partitions already. BUT when android 6 update came I did not use TWRP. I just updated from the updater app using the zip ROM. Can I do the same for miui 8? Or do I need TWRP and bootloader? Sorry I'm not that great with Android and miui I was just always comfortable updating from you guys. Also, since I think I have synced mi account, google and also whatsapp my contacts are all messed up. Meaning I have the same contact several times. What is the best method to backup your data with a mi phone? (contacts, msgs, app data)
