MULTI 6.6.16/17/18 - Miui 8

Miui 8 in redmi note MTK does not install, stays in a loop and I'm just CapAd to recover installing old rom, namely 6.5.19.
It happens to someone else?

Yes, but it`s stuck @ the MI logo for over 2 hours now...
That`s a bit too long .

Finally did get booted,but as soon as i turn it off again,it takes over half an hour to boot again.

This is not ok,even for a beta.

Back to 6.5.26 for me...

How long did it take? I just gave up after a while. Trying to get my Hermes working again, but haven't got any luck up until now.

Well, the first boot after flashing took over 2 hours...
Even made a factory reset and wiped everything.

Normally a first boot after a flash takes about 15 minutes(Most of that is upgrading all installed apps).

I finally put 6.5.26 on the sdcard and made a full wipe.
Flashed it in twrp and let it boot.
Took about 10 minutes...

Phone works just fine again.

I've flashed it on my Mi4C. It's great, but after encryption i have this error: 54.243.194.135/thread-277545-1-1.html
The problem is in the MiuiKeyguard.apk. If i delete them i can boot qithout any problem, but can't insert my pin from simcard.

Any solution?

Can someone tell me how the performance is for Hermes Redmi Note 2 (prime)? Is it better than MiUI7? In 7.3.2.0 i only have +/-400MB of free RAM even if i clear everything. In an older version of MIUI7 i had 800MB free RAM with more apps installed. Maybe someone can run antutu for reference? In 7.3.2.0 i get 52.000 in Antutu, in my older MiUI7 EU ROM i managed 56.000. (Don't forget to turn "performance mode" on.)

My proposal is, wipe everything, except internal memory. Then from recovery, boot to recovery again, and flash zip.

Everything is working great in my RN2 Prime, no wipe performed. Just some crashes with theme app but after last reboot it's working too.
For now... really a great rom, my compliments devs!
