hello I have a problem installing the rom in the mi5 with TWRP
Error "could not find meta-inf / com / google / android / update-binary in the zip file"

Everything works fine, need reinstall SuperSu.
No FC or random reboot.

ist still rooted but menu 'root' isn't longer availaible within 'rights'.

After wipe dalvik, cache and data and restore local backup, "xiaomi services" disappeared..
I hope this helps battery..

Working good on my Mi4. I've been on the global dev ROM for awhile and I wanted a change. The only thing, and it might sound kind of lame, but the Miitomo app doesn't work . It force closes right away on start up. It was working fine on the global dev ROM.
On a side note, the app works on the stock ROM on my 6P, but force closes on custom ROMs. It's probably an issue with the app anyways.

Wifi problem came back the next morning when I woke up. Have given up on this update.
You manage root permissions and settings from within superSU app now.Mi4W

Hey guys, i'm very new to Xiaomi, but been with the android world for a long time.
i recently purchased a RedMi 3 Pro (still haven't got it... hopefully get it this week) and am looking at my ROM options.
Seeing as theres no AOSP/CM builds for it yet, i've been told this is the best, quickest, no bloat-ROM. Is this correct?
I just applied to have my bootloader unlocked (it asked for my mobile number, so hopefully i can apply for it without having the phone). Any thing else i need to know before flashing this rom?

Hello everyone! about updates (can't wait OTA ), if i understand correctly, need download ROM, go to updater > choose update package > done. Im right? is same installation like OTA?

I installed superSU.zip within TWRP and root access is ok. superSU app install do not work (error -505).

Hi,
You can try with adb command in fastboot mode.
Just extract the .zip file into your adb folder, then open e cmd window in adb folder.
Boot your phone into fastbootmode, connect to your PC via USB cable.
Type "adb devices" (with out ") and check if adb detect your phone.
After type " fastboot flash recovery recovery filename.IMG" (change the recovery filename with the name of your recovery file).
You should have installed your twrp now
With out phone you can't apply for unlock code.
Your RedMi note 3 pro must be linked to your xiaomi account.
So preceed as follow:
Have the phone first!
Login into the phone with your miaccount.
Go on micloud and check if the phone has been recorded correctly
Now apply for unlock the bootloader
oh, i just went on the website, put in my phone number. Says takes ~10 days to get a message so i thought i do it earlier
How xiaomi can know which device you have if it is not linked to your mi account?
IMHO you will wait forever in that way.
