Yes. I agree. I do not see any improvement whatsoever. They do not fix any bugs. They just implement useless new features that no one asked for.
I don't understand why they don't fix the reported bugs. It has been weeks now that people are reporting then and waiting for a fix.
At this point I do not see any reason to keep on updating the ROM weekly. Just do it once a year and you're good.

Stable ROMs are "older" ROMs... And to install older ROMs people should always do wipes.

Right... but that depends on which ROM you have. I have 6.1.28 - not sure if stable 7.2 is older... have to look at that. Thanks Tonirai.

Have you been doing careful testing? please provide feedback, I'm considering switching to stable. Being on dev ROM is useless since they don't implement any cool features anymore and they just add more and more bugs with every release...

Guys.. maybe Google play is lagging because of GAPS used by our favorite developers..

For example .. in notification bar, progress while downloading files.. looks funny! like a zipper.

@ingbrzy maybe if you change the GAPS source problem will be solved. Worth trying.
what I call lag: in fact is lack of progress bar.. gplay show: downloading .. but you can notice in network speed that something is downloading, without progress bar showing this.
So download is in the background, and the next progres shown will be: installing.
It's not the end of the world.. but it's really annoying.
This is only on WIFI. ON 3g or 4G things are like they suppose to be.

Anyway.. 6.3.10 comes with a lot of changes ..at least for Mi4c - Libra.

Galery was changed, Refocus in camera was added, New animations, overall very snappy rom.

dev to stabe or stable to dev always full wipe clean install.
yes all roms automatically twrp 3.0 but I delete recovery folder in rom.zip twrp 3.0 bugy for me everytime. I recommended twrp 2.8 cofface is working perfect
I like stable build dev builds mostly timebugy or bad battery life for me.

Hi Mendocino, thanks for replying to my questions. So, you mean that we can change the TWRP img file for another version in the zip folder...? Or just delete it and keep the one we already have (I have the 2.8.7.0 from TeamWin which is great)...?
And the full wipe, we do it after the new ROM installation, right...?

I guess there's a lot of people thinking about doing that... there are so many problems with the Dev ROMs now... I like to test new stuff, but at the same time I really need my phone working well - I can't afford to make it a brick...

I updated the stable version 7.1 to 7.2 for hermes. But not arabic fonts cannot be viewed. they are shown with x instead of letters. It is the first time that it is like that. Everything was normal in the previous versions

Incremental OTA updates are dangerous if user change anything in the system files.. And it's another extra work to do.. We are still working on MIUI just for fun (even it's not funny anymore) at our free time.. And yes, we are humans, husbands and dads... So we need keep some free time for our families because we still love them more than MIUI... For now, we spend more than 5h daily on doing/fixing/cracking MIUI..

It seems Xiaomi spend lot of time and effort to force users using their own official MIUI releases instead of they would spend time and effort to fix bugs and consider users feedbacks

Ingzbry can't upload so soon the new ROM. This because uploading to chinese servers is really slow.

libra twrp 3.0 is very bugy (error 7, no otg, bugy recovery etc..) Please use cofface TWRP Recovery 2.8.7.3 in rom.

No superluminal 7.2.3.0 has been built for different kernel, it's for CM. And It has touch screen issue because it need to rebuild touch firmware/driver each time you boot your recovery.
The most reliable recovery for Mi 4c was the one available in this forum, 2.8.7.0 version by cofface.

I think they can send you this code via email. Other way to get it will be to put your sim card in another phone.

Well, the first one just allow you to watch online video with your mobile data connection. But in this "global" version of the app you cannot watch any online video (this is a chinese app version feature), so it's pretty useless.
The other one is other chinese stuff. It won't affect you. You can keep it enabled or disabled. Personally, I was never alerted of new content.
Please, You can tell me if you have this bug with 7.2.3.0 on 4g?
