I noticed emmc.appsboot.mbn is not present on 6.11.1, 6.11.24 and 6.12.8, but it is present on 6.11.3

Does that mean roms wont lock BL anymore if you already unlocked it ever even with official releases?

Seems your twrp does not support nougat. Use twrp that support nougat to get rid from that issue.

I have the same error with 3.0.2-3 version,same problem on other smartphone(not a big problem)

If you want root on Mi5 nougat you should wait for first successful reboot to new system and then install latest SuperSU SR5 via TWRP otherwise you will lost IMEI #2 and SIM cards and Mobile network settings will be ****ed up.

I fllashed latest supersu directly afteer flasing the rom...without booting it first. And all work normally...

Mi5 prime
- Have Flash TWRP 3.0.2.3 with previous recovery and reboot in recovery
- Have flash update and rebooted but flash ended with error about enable to month e:/ and error about recovery
- Then Have reboot to recovery for flash supersu 2.78 r4 and Dolby atmos 6.5.1 and rebooted
NO SIM detected
- then flash super su 2.78 R5 and rebooted
Now seems all work fine!

Supersu root is automatically removed,after upgrading!!!

So;

1)update TWRP and REBOOT TWRP(check version) https://dl.twrp.me/gemini/twrp-3.0.2-3-gemini.img
2) install new MI5 nougat rom https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120692424
3)WIPE cache/dalvik
4)reboot system FIRST
5)install Supersu 2.78 SR5 https://download.chainfire.eu/1014/SuperSU/SR5-SuperSU-v2.78-SR5-20161130091551.zip?retrieve_file=1
6)reboot to finish

On my Capricorn all new features of last updates doesn't work. For example deleting notifications on lock screen, maybe have i to do a clean installation? @ingbrzy
