same for me.. Rom automatically put stock recovery on every reboot.. yes, that is right command , twrp u need renamed to recovery.imgI've tried to flash TWRP via Fastboot, but every time I reboot my phone in recovery mode, I have the stock recovery.
Is "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" the right command or am I wrong? (recovery.img is obviously the img of the TWRP).
U can flash super su..after u install mm, power off phone..press volume (-) + power button, go to fastboot, flash twrp, press volume (+) + power button to go to recovery, now u are on twrpSo
So I can't flash SuperSU?
Or if I install MM with stock recovery then TWRP works?
On mi3 with 6.1.21on which rom u are, steps ? follow steps which I provide few post before
The terminal LEO has problems?

Try to see with terminal emulator apk. Should be 1.2 gb, but this showed up after second update of 5.12.17.Like I said, that doesn't work. It only shows RAM.
Or do I need root first?
What do you mean?
5.12.17 is older than 6.1.14!
You can read the numbers like this:
5.12.17: 5 means 201(5) the year!
12 means December (the month)
17 menas the day!
Why you should go back to 5.12.17?
Inviato dal mio Redmi Note 2 Prime - MIUI V7 Hermes 6.1.14 EU
No, once is enough. System partition is 1.2G after 6.1.21 flash. Why do you need to flash 5.12.17 twice???
The OP doesn't say anything about flashing twice. Is it imperative to do it?
i wanna ask here if i install this latest version of dev rom to my redmi note 3 which already has the previous dev rom from here, using TWRP, will my data/apps/files etc., and TWRP dissapear or not? i just want to make sure before trying. anyone?
Doing this, now is merged. For CANCRO working steps for merging partition :
Step 1): be on miui kk rom on both partitions (system 1 and sytem 2) with mi recovery
Step2 ) use updater app and update to 5.12.17
Step 3) after boot again use updater app and update to same 5.12.17 again
Now you are on new partition
After that u can change recovery and flash MM rom
What is the version of baseband in Redmi note 2? Any news for bluethoot problem?
This is the procedure for Xiaomi Mi3/4.Topic 1 said that: Up 5.12.17 before up to 6.1.21.
I am using 6.1.14 (redmi note 2). So Do I need downgrade to 5.12.17 before update 6.1.21.
Tks
If I am on stable on Mi4, can I flash 5.12.17 via updater?
My question is: after 5.12.17 with 1.2 GB system, IS IT OK to update 6.1.21 by updater app without TWRP??? I have MI recovery, and dont want to change recovery.if u are on 5.12.17_v7_4,4, boot it ,go to updater app, install again same 5.12.17_v7_4,4,after that boot it ,go to updater app and flash 6.1.21_V7_6.0
ofc it is okMy question is: after 5.12.17 with 1.2 GB system, IS IT OK to update 6.1.21 by updater app without TWRP??? I have MI recovery, and dont want to change recovery.
I am using Redmi Note 2 (6.1.14 version)
Do I up 5.12.17 version before up 6.1.21?
It's place for to be improved in next updates...@ingbrzy
