Is 6.0 for Cancro ( installing 5.12.17 and 6.1.21, and merging partitions) working with custom recovery ? Or Mirecovery only?

works with TWRP, I already flashed ..but for 5.12.17 u need to be on stock mi recovery,just for safety

yes, but better for u if u check if it's merged and btw I flashed 2x 5.12.17 build so that is why I said that

I updated now my redmi note 2 and my issue remains: l plug or unplug the phones....and The music player starts automatically. I check every phones and musicplayer options and nothing. Thanks

Those we are on lastest release 5.12.11 will need to flash 5.12.17 manually and then the MM or will be an OTA release to upgrade to MM?

Thank you very much! And update to 5.12.17 can be done directly from 5.12.11 Xiaomi.eu renaming trough update.zip trough updater app ?

In other forums i see previous step flashing trough fastboot 5.12.4

''failed to extract dir from ''system'' to ''/system''
(red letters) E: Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/Download/xiaomi.eu_multi_cancro_6.1.21_v7-6.0.zip (/red letters)
i think the 5.12.17 don't merge the partitions, as i checked it before flashig MM and system partition still was 600~mb

boot 5.12.17 and via updater app flash again 5.12.17..now u have merged partition ,works for me..after that boot rom, and same with mm build
