I don't have mi4 is on assistance because these phones are made with feet. It's 1 month and half sent in China, beautiful customer care.

That's the lock screen for TWRP, swipe it to unlock the screen. I usually keep mine at read only. If you don't, then it may ask you to install root at boot up if it doesn't see that you are already rooted.

I've tried it, seems fine, but i have problem with Dual mic noise surpression (setting to single mic noise surpression does not work) and ppl cant hear me good, like i'm talking from the open space

I've downgraded to 5.12.17 and will wait for now

If you don't have the stock recovery, you can download the fastboot developer room for mi 4 from Miui official site and extract it from there.

My first impression of Marshmallow on Mi4:

Very nice and smooth, good job for first public release

Problems so far:
* Daily Lockscreen FC
* Google Now on Tap not working (gets enabled eventually, but still opens classic Google Now instead)
* WhatsApp Web not working

Is there a thread already where to report Marshmallow issues?

It's awesome as usual. The only thing concerns me is that Google settings icon appeared out of nowhere after updating the phone and as it happens I really hate that damn app . Please make it disappear in the next release!

Thanks a lot but doesn't work ... I try three times, but nothing... when I put the update.zip with 6.1.21 and push to "Install update.zip to System" come back to "Reboot"

And also I can't go back to previous version... doesn't work "Install update.zip to System". If I reboot on System 2 work only in safe mode and can't see the SIM card

I have problem with multi device, I have mi band and when connect in my car is instable... Disconnect and connect continuosly random... sometime also miband don't connect and I must turn off and on BT... With old version working well..
When I have time try to upgrade and change only the baseband...

Hi everyone! I have a Mi4 wich i want to update to MM so i downloaded 5.12.17 and installed it. After that I downloaded 6.1.21 and installed it via Updater app (as always) but it stopped at about 30% and after the reboot i was still on 5.12.17. Any idea why?

With all MTK phone is simply... its't enough change the file called "modem..." in dir system/etc/firmware apply same permission than the original... if is compatible usually working
I hope working also with MIUI and 4g phone...

Hi Dude you download ROM Hermes then you place file in directory DOWNLOAD_ROM ... Then You use APP UPDATER and click on CHOOSE UPDATE PACKAGE... choose file ROM in Download_rom directory

I installed this update at 9am and for now battery life is improved on my mi2s.. before it drained also in standby.. Now it's much better!! Also fixed the recommend folder problem and added Google settings app (there wasn't before)

Hi, I update my MI4 to 5.12.17, after boot, I update again to 5.12.17. I get merged partition. The next step, update to 6.1.21, and get this from diskinfo pro (attached pic).

I update from phone updater... please, any help?
