With Redmi 1 (hongmi) wcdma 5.8.20 chinesse rom runs fine (also old 5.8.13) with google apps 4.4.2. Fast, smoth.. Excellent.
But 5.8.20 from xiaomi.eu is unusable. I have install with twrp, with mirecovery.. With full wipe, with only cache and dalvik wipes.. Not runs...

In redmi note 3g there are lags issues. I try install from the last developer with wipe cache and dalvick and is very heavy, too much time to open the apps.
With clean install the same.
Y come back to the last developer.

Works great on Mi3w, though not many changes from MIUI 6...

I can't say what's under the hood, but at first sight - just minor cosmetic changes.

Hi!

Could you give me a gaps.zip, what do use this ROM?
I trying an another MIUI ROM, and now I don't use this, 'cause play process stop working continously after booting device. I think it's cause a different gaps version(Once play store wants to updating google services when I power on the phone, but a crash apps prevented this), but i don't know which ver. use this ROM.

Option showtime not showing...impossible to use.

I saw a comment on en.miui forum that we must sync all contacts with Micloud before use this feature.

Hope it's a joke....if not why ???

Otherwise no real improment than before....it's a little more quick but i'm still losing 12% battery in plane mode in one night (forced to reboot every day !) ... i also used cynanogen on other phone and my wife has an iphone (SIC) they both looses 1% in plane mode in one night...shame on MIUI for this...

It's an exchange account no need to sync for me already in a cloud...

The rom has been corrected. Now it works perfectly. In my opinion highly recommended.

It's OK now. Download the zip again and flash it.
