Due to serious bugs caused by Xiaomi not following android standards, we are not able to recompile apks correctly yet... so we decided to skip 5.8.13 release and work on updating of our tools to support new MIUI godzilla layout....

The patience you guys have... seriously, if it was me I just would tell "**ck it".
Because I have a Xiaomi phone, thankfully you are still pushing it.

I dont care they dont give support to foreign countries. They have a growing market expanding to them. We are customers after all.

They wipe their hands by creating an unofficial european forum supposedly updated by users (not xiaomi) where I keep reading "hey, its a chinesse phone, we are not xiaomi, you should be grateful for the UI updates even if you have to stay with outdated android base".

So as a costumer I am, this is the first and last xiaomi for me. period. And for what i read on the forums, Im not the only one.

im amazed as a mi note owner, that my version will have 4.4 - its high time someone put a bullet into some of xiaomi managers heads, or legs, but heads better, to teach them that once you promise you have to deliver. As of today they are worst of all the major manufacturer, device model creep, unsustainable hype, all methods aiming at the retarded sheep customers like the indian or brazil one, the guy who has no shower and shits on the streets but HAS THE LATEST MOBILE. I paid 450 euros for a phone that was promised support etc, and the more time passes the more they f**k android over.

Just to mention if you're on a Mi Note Pro and want the best performance with the least amount of heat 5.7.27 is the best, this version is a Note Pro only ROM and can be found in the 5.7.26 repo's.

Do I care about Lollipop update at this time ? NOT FOR NOW
Can I wait a week and even more to get a free bugs update ? OF COURSE

500euro for something that isn't a Mi Note Pro is something you paid too much for via a third party. I paid that for my Pro and if you open GFXbench 3.1 you'll notice you're benching with Tablets and pretty much every other phone is a joke along with most other Tablets.

Extremely nice tech for half the price of an iPhone and well under an mainstream brand.

Also I believe it's the love for this affordable tech & cool UI that keeps this forum going, not Xiaomi so be very grateful. I love that all the useless Chinese code is pulled out with only the very essential Google code implemented and appreciate immensely.



P.S. I hate lollipop scroll bumpers and prefer 4.4 visually.

Basicly MIUI7 is just MIUI 6 with theme. So don't expect too much.
Also, translators need time to move strings from MIUI6 to MIUI7.
You can help them by not saying anything until it out

I've installed the China Version of 5.8.13 and yes...
It seems much smoother than Miui 6...
Awaiting anxious for the version of Xiaomi.EU of Miui 7...

Yup, very fast and stable. A lot better than the 12.x I had installed before. So even if Mi3 doesn't get 5x... so what?

But what other brand dare to give there rom constant developing.
So there is no udate this week.
And still what other brand has a weekly update.

So everybody be patient, they working hard in there free time to give you a good rom.
And this week they where not able to do it. So its fair or those anyone want just a udate or want a good working rom.
Hopefully next friday they will be able to give us that if not, its not the end of the world.
Give them the respect they deserve and praise the work they do.

Yes I am running the chinese developer version, it's 5.8.13, though I had to flash it through fastboot because I didn't find any OTA or recovery-flashable zip

For 12.x I meant the various CM 12.x that float around (like Ivan's). I was using Mokee, that is a 5.1.1 ROM (or CM12.1 as others cal it)
