Tested, miui video player does work with plex media server, but windows media player server is not compatible.

Since MIUI ROM 4.2.14 a 'New Edit Home screen interface (2-12)' has been introduced.
In the old interface one could add shortcuts as follows:
1. Long press on empty space on your home screen to activate desktop edit mode
2. Now instead of finding shortcuts option in widgets, press the menu button
3. Press "Add" on top of the menu options
4. You will see different sortcut options/settings/actions depending the applications you have installed.
5. click on shortcut of your choice and its DONE.
In the new Edit Home screen interface (2-12) the 'Add' button has disappeared:
Is there another way to add shortcuts?
Is it possible to bring back the 'add'-button?

Today I have got 3 times FC with the following message: gapps process stopped working (or something similar message, I did not remember exactly, so I cannot quote exactly but this is the point)
Any idea? Is this known issue? I did not see this before, never!

I get FC's in contacts on several actions running both this version and previous ones. This happens on 2 mi-2 devices. This morning i got one on deleting a contact (updated to 4.2.21 beforehand). I run the dutch language

Hey guys, can anyone tell me a workaround to play videos from Gallery on my I9100 (Galaxy S2)? Its really annoying to have to go to File Explorer to play my videos using MX Player. Really upset. Is there no way at all?

Great job of all of you!!!... I started using miui on my SGS3 and I will not change it anymore.
Just a question, why the automatic update failed to recognize an available update? some weeks I have to download the rom from my pc and then transfer to my cellphone. I don't mind to do all that hard work (lol) but would be nice to always update automatically.

My phone disappeared of Google Play Store, and not an app disappeared of my phone.

I see, seems that you have to give again permissions to google to find your device: Settings -> accounts -> google -> Location settings -> Enable everything inside there.

Guys, why no busy signal and call waiting feedback when making a call in given case using MIUI rom? All other phone can handle. These bugs are the most serious for me. Please check and you will see!
