MULTI 4.1.24

When I try to install the Xiaomi Hongmi WCDMA - Stable 5.0 Multilang I get this error:

Always installed miuiandroid roms without any problems and this latest one I just cant.
Tried with CWM and now with TWRP recoveries without success.

What might be the issue?

do not have problem with no root permission, no theme, no alarm snooze?

Gerrett ROM has root permission and theme apk working fine.
I don't use alarm snooze, sorry.

@pjovp I had the same problem. They told me that you have to use the MIUI Recovery.

I don't have MIUI recovery and to install it again I think its a long procedure which I dont want to go.

I have manage to install it by removing the assert line in the zip file.

Now next step, trying to root.....

No its not /system. Ive asked someone about it.
Note has more than 700mb in system. About 60 MB when installing multi. But im not sure if with or without gapps.

I installed the stable version for Hongmi, which is a repack from an already stabke version and I notice several bugs, including the very low volume as well

it's already maxed out
can it be that the flagship device from xiaomi is very low on speaker volume ? also when i connect headphones it's pretty low.
I saw some warning when i cranked the volume up but ignored it. maybe it caused the mess or is it the it should be ?

On Hongmi it can be adjusted with MobileUncle app.

Hi there,
I notice a bug both in 4.1.17 and in 4.1.24: the long-press function on the display is not working. I didn't find these issues on the pre-installed version on my Xiaomi mi3, so I think that is a kernel related problem. Anyone is experiencing the same problem?

Same problem here... using the Mi3 with 4.1.24 "portuguese version"

Hi,
Here the edit mode works (sometimes after a few tries). The problem is for instance when you want to select an sms for options like delete, copy, paste, never works, always opens the sms. When using keyboard and long press for instance e to get é, ê, è... they appear but theres no time to select nothing, always select the plain e.
It´s like the phone doesnt "read" a long press but only a single press. Could it be some configuration?? The Mi3 is brand new so I dont have a prior expecience with a previous version o Miui.

Can I free some space directly from ZIP file? I'm thinking about deleting other languages files in /T9DB.
could it work?

EDIT: First I clean other languages in /system/T9DB in my phone. Then dirty flash mutilang ROM, cleaned previously and all is working fine. Root access, theme manager, ...

Anyway a cleaned ROM multilang for everybody will be much better.
