Yeah I`m net really worried about the actual name ( Gaylord might be bad) but its annoying that the contacts are mislocated.

Although this is also mostly a cosmetic thing, unless you try to locate them on a map

So there nothing I can do to fix it, will you keep this in the back of your head please, I'm in a minority here, i realize that and I`m not nagging, but if you could fix this at some point in time, I`m a happy camper.

I'm confused of the problem. Your contacts have wrong state associated with them?

Råneå is somewhere in Sweden, and not in Norway ( other contacts are also randomly placed in Sweden)

I sync via Gmail contacts, could that be causing this?

Uhh, I think there's something wrong with the "official" download link. I've redownloaded the zip twice, and everytime I want to install it, I get a message that the verification has failed. I'm now trying the mirror, but I think the official .zip is damaged...

Don't use recovery. Just flash through Updater.apk.

What is everyone's obsession with recovery. Xiaomi has 2 /system partitions so you will NEVER have to enter recovery.

I've gotten so used to it from my previous phones. With my older phone there were also two ways to update, using an app or using recovery. The app had a high fail rate so I always preferred the recovery method.

I did install a language pack but I have no idea wether it had that mod or not. It probably did. Thanks for the fix!

I just updated using the app and it worked fine.

That's because its a player and a player only. Its not a front end. So the app only does anything if another app requests something to play a video. Same as how you don't have launcher icon for wallpapers, but if an app wants wallpaper, it calls the correct one.

Its a new ROM. Just flash the new one. We don't do small OTA packages, because people change their ROM and it would fail more than likely on 50% of the ROMs.

Is it same like I applied V5? ( come to this website choose Aries - save it in downloader - then use .apk to update?) Pls confirm.

3.Run updater
4.use menu button to find the option "select installation pack" update,
5. reboot =Winning!
