Is it okay to flash weekly updates rom directly from a global rom device, or I should need to have the stable rom first before flashing the weekly updates? I am having issues flashing the weekly update rom coming from global rom as it keeps getting on a fastboot loop Thanks!

Not necessary to flash stable ROM first.
You have to choose first_install_with_data_format.

Yes you must flash China stable first. I had the same problem as you on my Xiaomi 14 it rebooted to fastboot all the time after flashing eu with full format coming from global rom. Could not get it to work tried different cable and ports. But after first flashing China stable in fastboot then eu it worked right away.

Then there were a problem on your side. You can do that, if a problem appears like fastboot bootloop. But it is definitely not necessary in general to flash first china stable ROM.
I never did that with my devices (Xiaomi 14, 13, 11 etc.) and all went fine.

I've seen a few people reporting same for Xiaomi 14 in the weekly threads so something is going on and just not for me. That's how I found out the fix to flash stable first.

When I flashed xiaomi eu rom and started phone for the first time, I turned on the "wallpaper carousel",I found that I couldn't skip the basic settings and had to turn it off before proceeding. In addition, I set the navigation mode to be full-screen gestures, but after entering the desktop, the navigation mode is traditional three-button

my phone is xiaomi 14 pro

No need to install Chinese Stable ROM.
Just install TWRP before installing the ROM.
If it is a Global Xiaomi 14 device:
Install TWRP > install ROM in fastboot > install SIM fix (modem)

good morning everyone, installed update on Redmi K60/Poco F5 Pro and everything works great. the only problem, which I don't think depends on the ROM, is the hotspot not working from phone to computer while it works on the Fire Stick. I'm writing this because maybe someone knows how to solve the problem which, I repeat, does not depend on the ROM.

Do you have root and do you use any modules in it? If so, that could be your problem.
