Battery drains fast in the current rebuild for Poco F3. (annex)

My bad! I forgot to mention on my previous post that it were almost all the time connected in 5G mobile. No major battery issues when in the 2/3/4G or WiFi.

The downside of an older phone it seems, when they still had to use a seperate modem from the soc for 5G, which uses more battery. ;)

Also last dev update broke Poco f3 call stuff (phone flickers from black screen to normal on normal call), not surprised if xiaomi specifically do garbage, because they know that this is the last update
 
why does an update reminder prompt again even thought i've updated to 4.10 build?this already happended once a few weeks ago，12pro

what you are saying is about google message.as you said,rcs is a open standard,and it's been developed by china Mobile company,it's called “mobile 5g message” and integrated in the message apps on almost any phone manufacturers from china including Xiaomi

The top bar doesn't work where you turn on wi-fi/transmissions. I only have edit and when I click it the GUI crashes.

Anyone know how to reset the function center so there are defaults on the classic view?
 
Hello, today I found all of the sudden on my mi12 with the newest weekly Rom, that my SIM card is not recognised anymore. It switches between 4 bars and no SIM card symbol. I also get A pop-up shows up indicating that "com.android.phone" has been crashing. SIM card is working on my old iPhone without any problem. Yesterday I had no problems at all and I have no idea what I have done since then. I tried to reflash the Rom without success. Is there anything I can do? Thanks!
 
Hey, love the room. Just moved to Xiaomi 13 and miui 14. How to enable the automatic call recording?
 
Do you use MIUI dialer?
Go to Settings and type "call recording" in the search box.

Current Poco F3 Issues/Bugs Report - Weekly 23.4.10 based on the previous Report:


1) Share doesn't work when using File App by Xiaomi and Settings \ Privacy protection \ Protection \ Network interception \ Secure sharing <enable> - Report - Xiaomi related
2) When using "One Hand" to adjust Brightness or Volume the slider will move to the max value only - Report - Xiaomi related
3) The "Usage Reset Date" only reset the Mobile Data Usage at "1st day" of the month - Report - Xiaomi related
4) Backup by Google One is wiped (and turned off) from Google Drive after each reboot - Report - Xiaomi/Google related
5) The Compass doesn't point in any direction on Google Maps - Report - Xiaomi/Google related
6) Some notifications buttons doesn't work - Report - Xiaomi/App related

Let me know if you need more inputs with the open Issues/Bugs.

(*) Of course some (or all) of the above reports may be related with Xiaomi and/or App Dev side. Confirmation and some troubleshooting could be needed.


None huge change since last build again and probably it won't happen on .Dev for Poco F3 anymoree. The current rebuild for Poco F3 has same Baseband Version, Kernel Version and Android security update. It's reliable, fluid, fast and only has fast battery drains if 5G Mobile connected.
The .Dev versions for Poco F3 are ending. So moving to Stable will be needed very soon to keep receiving Android Security updates and probably MIUI 15 (Android 13) next year.

Please, anyone who has used both versions of MIUI 14 (.Dev/Stable) could you share the main differences and lacks features?
Wigets, Battery, Mobile Connection (VoLTE, VoWiFi), Notificatons Delays, Google Maps (Compass Issues), Google Backup (GDrive Deleted) and other problems present in the current Weekly and already reported above.
