MIUI 13 22.6.8/6.9

Hello. I have a Redmi 9T NFC phone, firmware 22.5.18. To switch to 22.6.8 is it necessary to do data format?

Thanks for fixing the keyboard issue, it's been driving me nuts for weeks. I would've reported it myself, but I wasn't sure whether maybe it's GBoard, Viber or something else. Basically, every time I was in a chat and turned off the screen, upon returning my keyboard would show up with lowercase letters and anything I type wouldn't appear in chat, so I had to go back and re-enter it, which was mildly infuriating.

I have noticed some other issues during the time of using my alioth, should I report them all in a single post, or make a post for each problem?

Issue/Bug Report: Xiaomi Compass App v. 9.7.6.11 and Google Maps v. 11.34.0 are absolutely lost after last Weekly 22.6.9 update. Already tried to clean cache/data and recalibrate a few times but nothing fixed it. Almost all the time North is about 30º counterclockwise wrong but sometimes North move randomly. Since I use it day-by-day and was working fine I'm reporting this change in both apps on Poco F3.

Regards

Issue/Bug Report: The Cleaner App (Security by Xiaomi) missed the animated sphere after last Weekly 22.6.9 update.

Regards,
Nothing we can do about animations... in any case, from this release onward, we're using the Global Cleaner app instead of the Chinese one, so we'll just need to follow the app's updates on Global or Play Store and we'll update whenever possible.

List Says Xioami Redmi 9T Is "Recovery" But On 22.6.8 Download Link It Says "Fastboot"? Which One I Should Try?

After a few tests the follow issues are present on Poco F3 with current Weekly:

1) Manual Xiaomi Cloud Backup doesn't work for some users non related with model or region - Report
2) Empty notifications from Health, Sound (Earphone) and Gallery (Notification Panel) - Report
3) Some MIUI windows doesn't scroll down even on the App permissions settings - Report
4) Download videos from Mi Video App doesn't work - Report
5) Downloads App (Permissions details) doesn't work - Report
6) Some items show twice at Blur App Previews - Report
7) Share doesn't work when Settings \ Privacy protection \ Protection \ Network interception \ Secure sharing <enable> - Report
8) Slow/Fast Scrolling Down on some apps like Chrome Browser, Twitter and WhatsApp doesn't fluid smoothly - Report
9) Xiaomi Compass App and Google Maps App are absolutely lost to find the North - Report
10) The Cleaner App (Security by Xiaomi) missed the animated sphere - Report

Let me know if you need more inputs.

NOTE: Of course some (or all) of the above issues/bugs may be related with Xiaomi and/or App Dev side. Confirmation and some troubleshooting could be needed.

Thanks for the MIUI EU Dev Team for the awesome and hard work that fixed four reported issues from the previous Weekly builds on this new 22.6.9.update.

Best Regards,

damn i use arch linux i dont want to install virtual box for this. is there any way to do on linux?
Why would you need to setup a vm for carrying out simple ADB and Fastboot commands? Just sudo pacman -S android-tools and you should be good to go (meaning you can use the terminal to perform those commands, obviously).
Should any doubt persist, or any problem arises, the Arch wiki is your friend, as usual.

in the redmi 9t when turning on it does not show the redmi logo only the black screen, when connecting the charger it shows an ugly image of a charging time and then the normal charging animation appears, the animations are slow, problems connecting to the wifi on some networks, the google keyboard takes time to appear on the screen when typing

Mi11 , since last two build , camera won't focus anymore.
All the pictures i take was very blurred.
Does anyone have the same problem??
