Thanks for reply. So there is nothing I can do about it?
Things that you can look at are:
Tidying up your memory (widget icon with a brush);
Cleaner;
Clear Recents;
Clear caches;
Remove unnecesssary apps from Autostart;
Clear Dalvik & cache, and delete the /data/system/package_cache folder;
Look what apps might be running in the background;
Under Security, look at other utilities that you could use, eg. WhatsApp & Facebook cleaners, etc.
You could also have a look at Battery drain & lag after OS update from @MAMAC
I am sure that with a bit more searching, you could find more tips.
Generally keeping a tidy phone will help you run cleanly and smoothly.

I've seen this behaviour on both stock 12.0.8 and now 12.5.1. It happens sometimes after you have been in an app that default's to 60Hz like YouTube for example.

Skickat från min M2101K9G via Tapatalk

That 60Hz on YT and 90Hz on the task manager 120Hz on AOD & biometrics screens
is Xiaomi trying to compensate for other broken stuff in their software.

You can solve the 60hz YT problem by enabling developer options, and then set logger buffer size to off.

Yes sure. Alo disable things you don't need, like printer services and other stuff.

To speed up apps startup one could tick on:

Settings -> Special features -> MIUI lab -> AI preloading

... which must come as 'on' as default. I've never switched mine on - in fact I never even knew that it existed!

Well Xiaomi need some redesign the UI..
Features are all over the place, sometimes duplicated sometimes hidden behind some other options. It is a real mess :).

You're kidding right? Why would a "MIUI lab" (= experimental) feature be enabled by default?
Like you said, you didn't even know it existed, so if there is any issue related to the feature, you wouldn't even know where to look.

Today I noticed problem with auto rotation on my Mi10. Autorotation is working only in camera app. All other apps doesn't rotate at all.
After reboot it's ok.

There are probably many more features that I do not know of. I tend to stick with the features that involve me, and the ones that might interest me. I occasionally (after a backup) experiment with something new. As @osnix says, maybe it needs a re-design of these. For instance all of these non-security related utilities and functions under 'Security'!
I treat it a little bit like MS Office, which has many, many functions, most of which I do not use. When I have written programs, I have myself included many functions which I know a lot of people will not use - but they are there, just in case.
(Those were the days when we produced such things as context-sensitive help files - 16-bit ones - very useful they were too).

I didn't notice this problem because I prefer to use a predefined theme and just change the desktop image, a colourful for the block page and a black one for home page. I prefer to stay most simple as possible and evite no useful functions that only increase the battery without a real benefit. In this way my phone works perfectly and battery reaches 14 hours SOT.
Everyone of us use own phone differently.

It's not a "problem", the themes are simply not marked as compatible.
You can always get the MTZ for the theme you want, extract it, then in description.xml, change value of "uiVersion" to 11 (stands for MIUI 12.5) and add this item:
Code:
<miuiAdapterVersion><![CDATA[2.0]]></miuiAdapterVersion>
Save, ZIP everything back and rename the .zip extension to .mtz.
Then you can import the theme on your device and apply it normally.
Full compatibility is not guaranteed.

I have a Mi 9T Pro with MIUI 12.5 version 21.3.18.

Can I download and update to this version using TWRP or even the Miui Update app?

(dirty install / update)

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
this week i got a problem.
I tried to flash via twrp xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_21.6.2_9b69237ffd_v12-11.zip onto my Mi11Ultra, coming from
21.5.26 beta.
Flashing went through without problems but the phone still says it's on 21.5.26 beta.

I used the fastboot boot twrp.img comand as usual and installed the new ROM as described here many times.

Please help.

Your phone seems not booting on right partition (A/B partitions system). I don't know how it exactly working. ;)

Weird .. i did nothing different to last week...
I deleted all downloaded ROM files now and download it again.
Try to flash again.. how to select boot partition? I guess it's booting from partition a by default?
