You sure would have a better idea of this but in general if a disk has partitions they have been made there so no reason they can't be re-made. But anyway i hope they give us at least a year worth of updates because i really don't see an upgrade on the current line up of phones. Sure they have better everything hardware wise but with a phone it's about the whole package and k20 pro hasn't been beat yet. Ofcourse one can have a phone with no updates for years but as a tech nerd it's still a pleasant idea to keep up at least with relatively new phones. Well i hope we see some updates and that's about it.

What you're saying may only be technically possible by repartitioning the whole partition table, which can only be done by fastboot or EDL.
This also mean a complete data loss and incompatibility with any older firmware ever released for the device.
Also means no OTA possible in such scenario.
I assure you, no company will ever do that.

Yeah just tried it twice resets when casting to LG smart TV (Mi 10 umi) in the previous rom it was working.

Oh that's easy, this did not happen by itself. Uninstall updates for "System launcher" and don't ever update it manually...

Yes, this solved the problem. The only sideeffect is that I lost how programs where in a group, but will recreate them. Thank you very much!

To prevent this in the future take a backup of your launcher (only), by going to settings, my device, backup and restore, mobile device, backup, other system app data and check only the system launcher (add the wifis too, because, why not?). I think it stores it in somewhere in the miui folder. Restoring it may not bring back the size/grid, but it should probably at least being back the app icons.

MI 10 Upgraded to 21.5.27 from 21.3.24

Unlucky in this last version the Miracast don't work anymore the connection reboot the phone ....i don't know in what version this function stopped to work but in the 21.3.24 worked very well...

I must rollback to some other version because I need the wireless display to work

Was working in the previous rom, but like many M1i 10 users in this version it will reboot when you try to use cast.
Lets hopes its back to working in the new rom.

Found an example:Chrome in Incognito mode does not allow screenshots - but with the Smali patch installed, taking the screenshot works

Screen recording / screen casting + recording probably works too. But yiu probably dont want to take screenshots in apps that handle sensitive data.

Interesting, i had these stats on my Mi9 today, completely garbage. Tried to wipe cache+dalvik, but didn't help, it's gotta be some system/kernel thing. Basically didn't even use my phone, just 2-3 hours of music/podcast thru TWS earphones on Spotify.
